    Automatic Chemical Feeders

    1. 10 years ago
      Great and trouble free
This is a great unit and for the most part trouble free. You must keep the lid lubed with jacks or similar lube and replace Oring on lid every two years due to swelling. (about $10) thats just normal maintanence. Great unit.

      Works Great !
We use the free standing chlorinator, and it's keeping the correct amount of chlorine in the pool by using 7 ( 3 inch) tablets a week.

Easy to install, easy to use
I love the product. It was easy to install if you can work with a hacksaw, PVC pipe and the associated glue. Make sure you install a backflow preventer (from the local hardware store) if you have a heater as you do not want concentrated chlorine going back into the heater when you shut off the pump. When you open up the lid to add chlorine tablets to the unit, the chlorine gasses are highly concentrated and can burn the inside of your nose if you are not careful to keep your face out of the way. ... read more If you have a mask, use it, or I just cover my nose and mouth with a towel so I don't get that huge "blast" of odor.

      Great Product
My pool was so green it was like pea soup. I purchased over $200.00 dollars of chemicals to clean my pool and it was still green. So I found the Nature 2 Express Mineral Purifier and purchased it 2 days after I installed it my water is clear all the green is gone. Also it's so easy to install it took about 15mins. Super great product very pool owner needs one.

      Going on 15 years
I was skeptical when my pool guy installed the nature2 years ago, but when I neglected to buy a new cartridge the next year I sure noticed it! The minerals really make it easier to manage the water and gives it a sparkly look. Definitely do not neglect to replace the cart since then, saves me at least as much as it costs, on less chlorine tablets. I only need less than 25 lbs tabs for the whole summer (27,500 gals, inground). Love my nature2 filter!

      Really makes my pool sparkle
Installed this on my 23,500 gal pool earlier this summer. You have to shock the pool afterwards (with chlorine), but after that I cautiously let the chlorine level drop below 1 ppm, and went from using 4 tablets weekly to 2 tabs per week. Water has never looked better, even with half the chlorine! I still shock the pool 2x per month, just to be sure the pool is sanitary, but I give Nature2 Express a thumbs up, if you want to cut down on chlorine.

      Pool frog
I have had this system 10 years now, and it still works great.

      Frog cycler
3rd season with the Frog system. Pool stays clear, chlorine level remains constant. Run filter about 8 hours per day. Chlorine pacs last about 14 days. The Frog mineral PAC really does the trick. Recommend Frog system to all above ground pool owners.

Hayward Chemical Feeder was a fantastic buy
This product is very sturdy and well made. Clear directions for installation. Installation was easy and quick. Works great and easy to adjust to keep my 15k gallon pool chlorinated correctly. Should have replaced my old one years ago!

      Simple to assemble and use
It arrived with all the parts required to incorporate into filter system. Simple to assemble. Has made it much easier to maintain consistent chlorine levels

      Good product
Easy to fill (once you get the hang of putting the top back on). It almost works too good. I have it "closed" as far as it goes, but is actually putting too much chlorine in my 14 x 28 pool. I've been using 1" tabs, maybe I'll try 3" tabs. Hopefully they might dissolve slower.

      Very nice product
It does what it says. I have fit at least 7 three inch tabs in at one time which is what I wanted due to having a large inground pool. Top snaps closed tight too.

      Sturdy floater
All floaters wear out eventually either the hot sun or chlorine cause it to curdle and fall apart. I bought this jumbo floater to hopefully last an extra season! It’s sturdy and large...holds more than the normal 4 tabs easily....so far so good! Last one in is a.....lol.

      Less to worry about
Last year, the kids in the pool knocked out the floating chemical feeder and I didn't notice it was missing when I put the solar cover back on. 2 days later the water was clouded over. Now I don't have to worry about the kids knocking it out of the pool (let alone play with it) and the chlorine levels stay constant. Only have to fill once a week to every other week.

      Easy to use
This is great, I travel alot and when I get ready to leave for the week, I fill it and set to the number I want and don't have to worry about coming back home and the pool is green. the top is easy to open, this is my second one, the first one I got from a local pool place and after a while I could not get the top open. I would recoment this to everyone, if you want an easy to use system. worth the money

Save everything, time, your liner, hair
I had a guest in our pool play with the chlorine 'bobber and ended up flipping it over and all the 3 inch tabs sank to the bottom where they ate away at the liner all night until I spotted it the next day when the cover came off. Either no more guests in the pool or something had to be done. This feeder solves a lot of problems and is relatively inexpensive. I do find that it would be nice to have some kind of indicator that it is empty because removing the lid to find out it isn't is a pain and ... read more coming home from vacation to find out your pool has zero chlorine in it because it ran out on day 2 is a bummer. A clear molded window in the side or a pop up button...something.

      Works Great!
I've had for a year and works great. I like the fact that it always pops up to let you know it's time to refill.

      Pool Pop-Up Floating Chlorinator
Have only had a couple of week but feel it will be a good asset for my pool. It has already let me know I need to add chlorine

      excellent purchase
Picked up the floating chlorinator for our 18' pool. works much better thatn the inline filter pump chlorinator. It works exactly as described and am very happy with the chlorine level.

In The Swim Knowledge Pool: Automatic Chlorinators

    In The Swim's Dr. Pool

    Precise Control of Chlorine Level

Whether you are looking for a chemical feeder for an in-ground or above ground pool, you'll find several reliable models from In The Swim. Simply fill the feeder with chlorine tablets (or sticks), set the dial to a pre-set flow rate, and let the chlorinator do the rest. Test your chlorine level to determine if the dial setting is producing the preferred level of chlorine. Adjust the dial or add more or less tablets to the chlorine feeder and you can find the right combination for your pool.

Tablet chemical feeders are a quick and effective method of introducing chlorine or bromine into the pool. Traditional pool chlorinators have a removable top lid allowing you to fill the chamber with chlorine tablets. In-ground pool chemical feeders are available in a variety of sizes for small to very large pools. Brominators are also available for use with bromine tabs. Select from in-line chemical feeders, plumbed into the return line, or off-line chlorinators, which connect to pipes with hoses and injection fittings.

Liquid chemical feeders are peristaltic pumps mounted on the wall above a vat of liquid chlorine or pH solution. Liquid chemical pumps from Rola-Chem and Blue-White offer fast priming and consistent delivery of pool chemical solutions, injected directly into the return line with hoses and injection fittings. A variety of chemical pump sizes are available, to deliver from under 1 GPD (gallon per day) to nearly 100 GPD, depending on the size of the pool.

Mineral Purifiers introduce a constant supply of the natural minerals copper and silver to help control bacteria and aid your chlorine in maintaining clean and clear pool water. Pool Frog mineral purifiers combine a mineral cartridge with a chlorine cartridge as a complete automatic chemical feeder and mineral system.

Choosing the right chlorine feeder for your pool will prove to make your job easier. Make the switch to an automatic chemical feeder for an easy way to maintain chlorine levels.
