    Closing Accessories

      Excellent product!
I have been using this closing kit for past five years. Never a stain when I open in Spring unlike previous openings that I had professionally done.

      The Best
Used this closing kit for years and always opened the pool to clean clear water. That is until last year when I procrastinated and didn't order. I stopped at the local pool store and bought their closing kit. Last spring when I pulled back the cover I was greated with cloudy dirty water that took days of filtering and multiple shocks...This year it was back to the In the Swim closing kit...Time saved is money earned

      Does the job!
We have successfully used In The Swim pool winterizing kits for the past three years. The first year we tried the kit we were a bit unsure about the quality because the kit was significantly less expensive than the one we had previously used. The spring following our first In The Swim Kit we opened the pool to sparkling clean water. After that we had no further qualms about using it and have made it our go to kit for pool winterization.

I used this for our 24' above ground pool during the winter in the midwest. The idea is good and for a while, the cover seal stayed in place and kept the "cover sealed". With wind/rain/snow, though, the seal started to stretch, tear, and "flip" off of the sides of the pool. It was also virtually impossible to wrap this seal around the entire pool because we have a deck. The seal is the consistency of Saran Wrap and Saran Wrap probably would have worked as well-seriously. It is a good idea, but ... read more not very practical.

Kept my pool tight as a drum
If your putting this on by yourself then its a little hard getting it started until your able to start your second time around. But over all its a good product, I used it in 2008, and I'm going to use it again this year. I started at the bottom of my cover and went around the cover and then drop down one and then brought it back up to cover the top again and never had any problem. In fact it was on there so well, it was a little difficult to remove.

      Strong
I bought this wrap on Sept 3 to help in closing my pool for winter. I live in North Carolina. We just went through the winds and rains of Florence for 2 and a half days and this held my pool cover in place and never let go. We were not in the main storm and live north of Charlotte but we had strong gusty winds and very heavy rain. I will most definitely use this product again.

      Great purchase
We purchased our Winterizing kit and the pillows from this company. We were greatly pleased when the products arrived in a short amount of time. We did the winterizing on our pool and realized we needed to purchase more pillows. This company is wondeful for doindg business with. I had to call and ask a few questions and I spoke to a real person (not some automated machine) what a good feeling. i will continue to purchase all of my pool supplies from In The Swim. Oh, and their prices are fantastic.

Better Than the ring I used last year
I bought the 4x8 air pillow and I can't tell you how much better it worked compared to the ring float I used last year. For one thing it was easier to anchor and keep in place so when it came to putting the cover on it didn't move around or cause the cover to get hung up on it either. Last year the ring float deflated half way through winter so we will see how this holds up. It is more durable than the ring too. I inflated it halfway and I read somewhere to put duct tape over the flap(I guess to ... read more keep it inflated). So far so good!!

      might have a problem here...
Closed pool mid-October (about a month ago) and they've already lost a great deal of air (4 bags total). I was extremely cautious when filling being aware of puncture points/items around, but that was a waste of time. If they lose any more air, I'm in trouble. 26'x32' pool, the four bags going directly down the center with 20" in between. Held in place with 5-50 cord. The only reason I give three stars is because of the supplier. Fast shipping, always a pleasure buying pool equipment. Definitely ... read more my new supplier.

      First time, we shall see...
I have never used these before so I am not sure how they'll hold up but they made covering up my pool, which has a half deck, a breeze. They were a bit difficult to fill so I ended up shoving the hose all the way in but it all worked out in the end.

      Better Water Tubes
Just installed 6 of the Ultimate Water Tubes so I can't say how long they last. In the past I used the cheaper water tubes and some of them leaked right away. Most of the cheaper tubes didn't last a full season and I decided to get the Ultimate Water Tubes to avoid regular replacement. The new tubes are heavy duty and heat sealed on all edges. They appear to be far less likely to leak especially on the corners where to cheaper tubes tend to leak the most. The caps are a lot easier to close than ... read more the cheaper tubes and they appear to seal very well. After trying these water tubes I think they are well worth the extra expense.

      Durable
I bought this to replace the one that came with the cable which broke the first time I tried to tighten the cable. This one is rugged and durable. I hope to get a few seasons out of it. So far it works great.

      Nothing Special
Average quality for a box of pool chemicals and a piece of cable.

      just what I needed.
Needed a cable for my winter cover, since it broke during a storm. Great price, and fast delivery! Easy as pie to set up.

Saved me from lowering water level.
I bought this to prevent me from having to lower my water level below the skimmer because my water delivery guy told me that because of the gas prices water delivery price was going to increase. I used this and it worked great it has already paid for itself 50x.

      Easy Enough
Just purchased these this year so I don't know if they work or not yet. The were very easy to install the only problem I see is that there is no holes in the top to allow you to blow out the lines this make it a little more difficult. But other than that I think they were okay.
    3. 6 years ago
      Implode due to vacuum pressure
Simple to use, just screw in. I have a large in ground pool and my lines create a natural vacuum when they're drained during winterizing. Found that these units do implode on themselves under that pressure, but not enough to fail. Work fine though despite this.

Very easy to close my pool!
I have used the Pool Pillow Pal for the past 4 years and I love it! So much easier than string. I never had a problem with my Pal detaching, so I was surprised by some reviews, but my neighbors detached a couple years ago, but he didn't clean the area good on the cover, so it probably didn't seal well. No problem for him since that one time either. Great product, just have to make sure the cover is clean and dry!

      Very cool
Pillow pal was easy to use and cut out having to use twine, to secure the pillow. I gave it 4 stars because we haven't seen if it holds up all winter.

      Genius
So much easier than tying the pillow. Second year to do it this way.
