The O-Ring Kit for Hayward PowerFlo 1500, 1700, and LX Series (GO-KIT81 / APCK1004) is a complete "Tune-Up" set designed to restore the water-tight integrity of Hayward's most popular above-ground pool pumps. These pumps are known for their longevity, but the rubber seals eventually flatten or crack, leading to air bubbles in the pool or water leaking from the bottom of the pump.
This kit is essential whenever you are replacing the pump motor or if you notice "weeping" between the strainer housing and the motor. It features the PS-200 mechanical shaft seal, which is the primary barrier preventing pressurized water from entering and destroying your motor bearings.
