Aqua-Cel Diatomaceous Earth Pool Filter Media, 12 lbs is specifically designed for use in swimming pools. To add Aqua-Cel D.E Filter Power, simply remove the skimmer basket from the skimmer and add the proper number of 1 lb. pre-measured pouches per the size of the DE filter. The pouch dissolves in approximately 40 - 60 seconds, releasing the filter media into the pool water.
