    Water Tubes

      Finally, something that works
With living in the windy north its very had to find something that actually works and holds the winter cover down securely. Those blue bags need to be replaced every year and get costly. The Aqua Blocks worked wonderfully. Lids don't snap on well but we used large zips ties to solve the problem. Through all the wind and snowstorms the Aqua Blocks didn't move! Nice to open the pool and have hardly any worms. Buying another dozen this year.

      Best time saver yet
After 2 off-seasons with water bags, I just got enough of the aqua blocks to cover about 3/4 of the perimeter, thinking I could use the remaining bags that had not already broken for the rest. I loved the 3 sides that got aqua blocks, and cursed the entire time on the side with the bags because it took twice as long as the other 3 sides combined, and got me all wet! I have already replaced 2 bags due to leakage in the last 2 months. Next year, it is all blocks, all the way. Any money spent on ... read more the blocks will be made up in time savings with your first install and spring takedown - definitely a must purchase for people like me who HATE pool maintenance!

a gazillion times better than the water tubes
These are a gazillion times better than the water tubes. Yes, use duct tape to help keep the lids on, but they are so much easier to fill, empty, and store (they nest), and so durable... the bags are constantly leaking and needing replacement. We are slowly replacing the bags that break with these and can't wait until our whole winter cover set is aqua blocks. And love In the Swim too!

      Pool Closing Plugs
The plugs are fine, but more expensive than at my local pool store.

We were very happy with the product. The explanation of the product was very understandable.

      Corner tubes
We bought 4 of them. They worked out very well but the next day when I checked, one of them was leaking. There's a hole somewhere but I can't find it.

Makes the corners of the pool look so much neater.

Recently purchased water tubes for my pool cover product is awesome and the speed that you receive what you ordered is beyond words. Ordered a few times from in the swim and am amazed how quickly I receive my order. Great company to deal with.

      Exactly what I wanted.
Internet and catalog have a wide array of items to purchase. Found what I needed, good price, and delivered quickly.

These are the ones you want to buy
I have purchased these in the past and found them superior to the other tubes I had. That's why I bought them again. 8' tubes are the way to go if you plan on moving them after filling them. 10' tubes are to hard to move when full. The fill/drain holes being close to the end make emptying so much easier than the ones that had the hole 6" from the end.

Prefer the double tubes to the single tubes....
We have been buying these water tubes for over 26 years, and have always been very happy with them, until the past few years, when it seems that the tubes have gone down in quality, due to many tubes having leaks in them!! Just like so many products in our world today, quality has gone down and down, but price has gone up and up..............

water tubes are great and the larger tubes are durable and hold cover in strong winds

      So Far, one casualty
Bought enough tubes to weigh the winter cover down, plus two spares. One tube leaked upon fill, all others ok. Seem to hold the cover securely so am happy so far. In The Swim promptly sent a replacement tube so I have my two spares again. Too early to rate longevety of the tubes, but so far, so good. Very nice not to have to carry heavy weights in to position. Just put them down where u need them and half fill them up!

      A Pool Necessity
I have tried several different methods for keeping my pool cover from caving into the pool over the winter. I have found that the single tubes work the best. I have used the double in the past, but when the single tubes are more flexible for my irregular shaped pool, and when it does leak-and they all do- it is easy to spot and replace.

      Great deal
This is the 2nd order of water tubes since I have had my inground pool and I love the quality. This time I decided the longer tubes would be a better deal but after getting them in place decided I liked the 6 ft water tubes better than the 10 ft tubes. I was able to work with my winter cover better with the shorter tubes.

      Pool cover Water Bags
I bought these bags to replace the Aquablocks that I have used for many years ~ they don't seem to hold the cover as good as the tubes and hopefully they will keep the water from seeping underneath the blocks do. Will see in the spring what my water looks like.

More about Pool Cover Water Tubes

Water Tubes are an affordable way to secure your solid inground pool cover or winter pool cover. Water Tubes are vinyl water bags filled 2/3 full of water and laid on top of the edges of your inground pool cover.  Double tubes lay flatter than single tube water bags to avoid rolling on sloped pool decks, and are still usable if one chamber gets popped. Pinholes or tears in water tubes can be repaired easily with Flexible Sealer

Winter water bags work as pool cover weights to hold your cover down against snow, rain and wind to prevent debris from blowing into the water. Water tubes can also be used with safety covers, to keep debris from blowing under the edge. As an alternative to pool water bags, see our unbreakable Aqua Blocks, plastic containers that will never leak, and stack for easy summer storage.

Please contact our pool experts at In The Swim if you have any questions regarding how to close your inground pool and we can help you find the right winterizing supplies for your swimming pool! Call us at 1-800-288-7946!
