    Water Tubes

      Great Service and Product too!!
These tubes were exactly what I was looking for. I have used these tubes for years and they work perfectly for my pool closing. The delivery time was unbelievable. The tubes were on my front door step in no time at all. I ordered 8 tubes and one was manufactured incorrectly. I contacted customer service and a replacement was here within 2 days. Now that's service! I do wish the individuals who pack the tubes would be more careful to not crimp the red rubber stopper for filling. The crimps made ... read more the initial connection difficult but the next time the holes will be re-formed and should be no problem.

      Pool cover Water Bags
I bought these bags to replace the Aquablocks that I have used for many years ~ they don't seem to hold the cover as good as the tubes and hopefully they will keep the water from seeping underneath the blocks do. Will see in the spring what my water looks like.

      Returned item
Even though I use clips with my above ground cover, I purchased this item to help with the north winter wind. I could not keep the water tubes from sliding off the pool caps and down on top of the cover or sliding over the pool caps out on to the ground. These would work well for an in-ground pool where surface was flat and even with the ground. Therefore I returned this item. Did not work well for me.

      water blocks
One to every six feet on a flat inground poll works good. Fill up and zip tie the tops on because they will come off. $2.00 for a hundred ties at harbor freight or amazon. If you're gonna spend $100 for twelve what's two bucks. On an above ground pool on the deck just make sure they are secure. I mean how hard is that. I have nothing to do with this company and even I can see common since. The box's are easy to fix with RTV silicone because if your like mean you might drop one or a lid and need ... read more to repair it. Wipe area with alcohol and use clear RTV available everywhere and wait 24 hours and good as new, not like patching a bag that will leak again.

      Awesome replacement for water tubes!
Bought these last year for pool closing after being tired of the tubes losing water all winter. waited to post this until winter went by us. We just opened pool yesterday, they all survived full of water with zero cracks. Drying now to be stacked and stored for next year. Love this alternative!

      Aqua Blocks
I searched the internet and stores and found the price here is the best for the aqua blocks. This product is better than water bags because they don't break and don't need to be replaced as often. They stack for easy storage and retain the water all winter long. Much easier to setup and fill than water bags. Great produt.

      Coming back for more!!
A number of years ago we purchased these water tubes for our 17' x 33' in-ground pool. They are quality tubes!! And when we needed to purchase a few more due to years of ordinary wear and tear from Pennsylvania winters. we knew we wanted the same tubes!!

      Good Sturdy Water Tubes
I like the thickness of these bags and feel confident they'll hold up nicely during our Northeast winter weather not to mention so far they are immune to the squirrels that run over them trying to get a drink of rain water that accumulates on the pool cover putting little rips in them as has happened with lesser quality bags. I also like the double sided feature just in case something unforeseen should manage to tear one side the other side still holds enough water to keep the cover securely in place.

Prefer the double tubes to the single tubes....
We have been buying these water tubes for over 26 years, and have always been very happy with them, until the past few years, when it seems that the tubes have gone down in quality, due to many tubes having leaks in them!! Just like so many products in our world today, quality has gone down and down, but price has gone up and up..............

      Pool Closing Plugs
The plugs are fine, but more expensive than at my local pool store.

      They Work Great!
I had bought some of these plugs when we first set up our 18' above ground pool and they worked great. Now, 8 years later they finally got weather cracked and needed replacement. You can't beat the price considering they kept water from leaking out during the winter for many years. The only change is that the wing nut is now plastic verse metal from 8 years ago. The new plastic wing nut worked great and should last as long as you keep it out of the sun during the summer.

water tubes are great and the larger tubes are durable and hold cover in strong winds

      A Pool Necessity
I have tried several different methods for keeping my pool cover from caving into the pool over the winter. I have found that the single tubes work the best. I have used the double in the past, but when the single tubes are more flexible for my irregular shaped pool, and when it does leak-and they all do- it is easy to spot and replace.

      Great purchase
We had some of these previously which we used for 15 years and we liked them because of their efficiency so I was very pleased to find them in the "In The Swim" catalog. I ordered them now so that we are ready when it comes time to close the pool. They do the best job of anchoring the winter pool cover down.

Recently purchased water tubes for my pool cover product is awesome and the speed that you receive what you ordered is beyond words. Ordered a few times from in the swim and am amazed how quickly I receive my order. Great company to deal with.

      Corner water tubes are great
These make the pool cover secure and more stable over the winter months

      Good Product - Good Price
Just closed the pool today and did use a couple of the new corner bags. Easy to fill and the caps closed first time. Bought extras becase the Lab cuts the corners too close some times when chasing his frisbee.

More about Pool Cover Water Tubes

Water Tubes are an affordable way to secure your solid inground pool cover or winter pool cover. Water Tubes are vinyl water bags filled 2/3 full of water and laid on top of the edges of your inground pool cover.  Double tubes lay flatter than single tube water bags to avoid rolling on sloped pool decks, and are still usable if one chamber gets popped. Pinholes or tears in water tubes can be repaired easily with Flexible Sealer

Winter water bags work as pool cover weights to hold your cover down against snow, rain and wind to prevent debris from blowing into the water. Water tubes can also be used with safety covers, to keep debris from blowing under the edge. As an alternative to pool water bags, see our unbreakable Aqua Blocks, plastic containers that will never leak, and stack for easy summer storage.

Please contact our pool experts at In The Swim if you have any questions regarding how to close your inground pool and we can help you find the right winterizing supplies for your swimming pool! Call us at 1-800-288-7946!
