      Great replacement
I purchased the plastic replacement steps and am very pleased. Easy to replace and have had no algea growth on them. I am now going to replace the steps on my other ladder.

      Great investment
I like the safety factor of having an exit on both sides of pool. Also, kids don't have to swim across pool to exit and return to slides. In my opinion, you can never have too many exits out of the deep end of a pool.

      Nice ladder
It turned out to be a nice ladder. It was a huge pain to assemble and fill with sand but the two of us got it done. Filling it up with sand toom most of the time because we wanted it to be full of sand. When it looks full youll have to give it a good shake to settle the sand down. It would have been nice if there were more fill ports. One of the two packages showed up damaged and taped back together, I would have refused the delivery of the package but I was not home to sign for it. ... read more Luckly I was not missing anything otherwise I would have returned it. Im not looking foward to taking this thing out for the winter.

Easy to assemble and great valute!
We purchased the single stair step for our in-ground pool and we are delighted with how easy it was to assemble - only needed a mallet to lock the pieces in place. Adding the sand as ballast took the most time because we used heavy playground sand which didn't pass through the funnel and small openings easily. Steps are sturdy and convenient.

      Excellent product; excellent service
I purchased the deluxe step system for our in ground pool 2 weeks ago and I love them! I placed my order on line on a Friday evening and they were received on Wednesday. My daughter and I were able to put them together... relatively easily. The most time consuming task was adding the sand in the side panels. After adding 70 lbs in the side panels, we added an additional 100 lbs behind the steps and anchored them to the concrete surround. They are very secure and have provided a terrific addition ... read more to our pool enjoyment. My mom... who is 75 and hadn't been able to swim in our pool for several years, spent 2 hours sitting and playing on the steps with some of her grandchildren. They loved every minute. Little swimmers really enjoyed being able to step down into the pool or playing on the steps and everyone found it a much easier entrance and exit from the pool over the ladder. I highly recommend them and hope to continue to enjoy them for several years to come. Well worth the cost!

More About In-ground Pool Ladders and Inground Pool Steps

In-ground pool steps and pool ladders can give your pool an updated look while improving safety around your pool. In The Swim carries the Curve in-ground pool step system and several styles of in-ground pool ladders and hand railsIn The Swim also stocks a full supply of replacement parts for pool ladders, such as ladder treads, bumpers and escutcheon plates, along with deck anchors and pool ladder accessories.

It’s hard to change the look of an existing in-ground pool without expensive overhauls, but a new Stainless Steel pool ladder, a Designer pool ladder or available in six cool colors, Saftron pool ladders. For pools without built-in steps, make a grand entrance with a new step system for in-ground pools is a simple and affordable way to make your pool look more accessible and attractive.

To remove a pool ladder from the deck anchor sockets, first raise the escutcheon plate, sliding it up the rail to allow access to the anchor wedge bolt. Use a 1/2" socket or box end wrench to loosen the wedge bolt, until it rises up about 3/8". Tap the bolt head with heavy wrench or hammer, to knock it down flush to the anchor again, to loosen the anchor wedge, allowing you to pull the rail out of the socket. Rocking the rail from side to side will help to loosen the rail from the anchor.

To replace a pool ladder: All of our in-ground pool ladders install easily into standard deck anchors, placed 20" apart, and 24" behind the ladder rails, on center. Our replacement pool ladders are designed to standard specs for easy assembly and drop-in installation into your existing deck anchors. New pool ladders include ladder bumpers and escutcheon plates but do not include anchor sockets or deck flanges.

To install a new pool ladder: Cut-out a 20" x 30" area of the pool deck behind the coping. Place anchor sockets mounted on a 20" channel, add steel mesh and pour a new concrete pad up to the lip of the anchor sockets. Allow the concrete to cure for 7-14 days before using the ladder. Pool ladders can also be surface mounted with aluminum deck flanges

If you have any questions regarding any of In The Swim's in-ground in-pool steps or our in-ground pool ladders, please feel free to contact our expert staff via phone or email.
