All good results with the Polaris replacement bags
I've had 3 transactions, 4 counting a return, & all handled promptly & efficiently. Keep up the good work.

      Better without the regulator
Love the way this cleans. Works extremely well and hits every part of the pool. The only problem we have experienced was due to the regulator. It would collect too much debris inside which reduced suction and would cause the device to float. It is a simple fix of removing the regulator and sealing the hose to the adapter with tape. Have had no issues since. We have a vinyl liner.

      newly redesigned
purchased 3 prior to this one over 12 years of good service I expect the same with this one. Having rebuilt or added parts to the older modes i see the changes; the wings attach probably a lot better, body feels lighter, not as heavy as prior, well we will see. So far 2 weeks in I am very pleased!!!!

      Skeptical
I am wondering how long the average unit lasts. We purchased May 2008 and this year, it quit working. We have avg sized pool and take very good care of the unit (don't use it during winter, dismantle hose and store well). Very disappointed that it quit working at the end of this season (4th season). Disappointed that the replacement part needed is $ 289!! But, in defense this is the story on most repairs these days. Our KK kept our pool sparkling clean but got stuck on the ladder repeatedly. ... read more When we installed the leaf canister, it completely took care of this issue. $100 per year is not bad to spend considering the time saved by having the pool cleaned for us, but I like things to last longer than this. I will research other brands prior to replacing.

I love this product! It is super affordable and easy to use. I've been using it for my dolphin pool robot and have really enjoyed using it so far. I will definitely be using it again soon.

      Works perfectly! Highly recommend
I have been using EZPoolBags for a quite a while (purchased from a different store) and was pleasantly surprised to find them @ InTheSwim. Now I can buy all my supplies at one place. I highly recommend these bags for your automatic pool cleaner! I really hated cleaning the original fabric filter bag, where everything stuck to the fabric and it took gallons and gallons of water to try to rinse it out. I absolutely love that I can use the disposable bag and just throw it away when it full! The ... read more same time they are durable enough to rinse and reuse! They are well made, fit my Dolphin Dynamic perfectly and make my robot to climb better, because there is less resistance and weight. They are life savers when opening the pool!

      Great customer service
I have had a few pool robots over the years. Aquabot has always been the best in my opinion. When my old one finally gave up the ghost I purchased the classic model from In the Swim because of price and the extra filter bag. Mine came with just the one bag and no additional bag as advertised. One call to customer service and with only a few questions they connected me with the right person to get a bag shipped as advertised. Bottom line....great pool cleaner, and wonderful customer service !

      Wouldn't own pool without it!
I've had my Aquabot for over 6 years now, still going strong. Does excellent job cleaning pool. I use it once a week for 6 -7 hours per cleaning. 20 x 40 vinyl inground pool. I remove my ladder before cleaning so the aquabot doesn't get hung up. Common sense, people! Can get tangled in cord occasionally, but not much of a problem. Best pool purchase I've made. Love this unit.

      Aquabot cleaner
We really like the aquabot cleaner. It cleans better than I can and is such a time saver. It climbs my stairs and walls. My pool has never looked better!

      This cleaner really works
After having used 2 different vacuum (skimmer side) devices, I thought I'd give this a try. I had looked at robots, but didn't want to lay out $1,000 +/-. This little bugger really works. It is fast, efficient, and leaves the skimmers undisturbed to do their work. One suggestion: if you have a larger pool with more than one return, you will need to reduce the eyeball diameter at the return not attached to the cleaner. If you don't, too much flow is diverted away from the cleaner and it doesn't ... read more work as well. Smaller diameter eyeballs are available at any pool supply store(I switched from 1/2" to 1/4")

      Daily function of unit.
Difficult to maintain. The screen constantly gets clogged with debris, thereby stopping the unit. Therefore, it must be cleaned at least twice a day, which creates problems when not at home.

      Back to what works
I used an old Polaris for ten years then when it quit I bought a "Tiger Shark" for more money than the Polaris cost. The Shark has to be babysat continually so you may as well do the work yourself since you can't leave the pool area anyway. I went back to using a Polaris because I like the water to be roiled when the filter is on and I can hook up the Polaris and walk away without worry and it will clean the pool and not get stuck on any return lines Etc. The expensive "Tiger Shark" is in the ... read more storage room gathering dust.

Best Buy for my pool !
We have a 22 round, above ground pool and he does the job perfectly!

      No insructions
I had no clue how to work it properly. There were two rubber gaskets over the jets which impeded it. I would put it in the pool and it would barely move. I had to figure out on my own that these two gaskets would not open properly. Once I removed them I got both jet and suction action. The bags are kind of heavy and really don't get smaller particles very well but it's awesome on bigger trash like leaves and twigs.

      Good buy when on sale!
This aquabot work well in our 30' round pool. It works best when the pool pump is off. The force of the water raise is it off the bottom. For our particular pool, the one hour setting works the best. It picks up debris well and cleans virtually every area of the pool floor. Also, starting the aquabot near the center of the pool seems to work the best. Reason for four stars is because most of the time, one side of the machine is harder to snap together than the other. And that's after ensuring ... read more nothing is in the way to put the top in a bind when connecting.

      AMAZING!!!
I normally don't write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for my Hammerhead Resort 21 because it is so amazing. I don't cover my pool and I have a lot of trees on our property. Once the pool is shut down for the season I have a real issue with the leaves that continue to fall. The Hammerhead works off of a battery so that the pool doesn't need to be running to vacuum and it had 3-4x the suction power as compared to the pool pump vac. The only regret that I have it not being it ... read more sooner! I don't miss scooping leaves by hand!!

      Cleans Pool Quickly
Have had this for 1 season in an inground vinyl liner pool and it does the job. Cleans walls and inclines with ease. Only problem was we had to buy 2 and return one as first was defective but was not an issue overall. As long as your pool is setup for one it's just a matter of unboxing and being sure you have the correct flow guage attached ( comes with 2 ). The instructions are included to properly choose the correct one. Connect to the dedicated Pool cleaner exhaust port on the pool, besure ... read more the MAIN pump is on, turn on the Polaris pump and your good to go. When done, turn off the Polaris pump and then if needed the main pump. One tip: If your Polaris does a wheelie, rotate the float on the neck so it adheres to the pool bottom. I recommend this as of 1 season of use so far.

NOT an UPgrade from Polaris 280
I had one of these installed when I built my pool in 1999. Struggled with breaking belts and constantly replacing the pressure relief valve on the side of pool for years. Finally decided to buy another 380 to see if maybe if would work better... When I went to pool store I said " I want another 380 " and the owner said " NO, you don't, and reccommended the Polaris 280...gear drive with no belts to break, said they had gone back to reccommending them." I was thrilled, I was familiar with the ... read more older model but had just assummed they weren't made anymore. I've had the Polaris 280 for 2 years now and only wish I had known they were still made years ago.....My sister had a gear drive Polaris for over 20 years and never had a problem....she sold that house so I don't know what the current owner is using of course....

      good pool maintenance
This my third Polaris (in 25 yrs ) It is efficient and easy to maintain. occasional hang-up on the ladder is not a problem. I have not used it, but there is a diversion device that will prevent the hang-up.The Polaris keeps the pool clean even following wind storms and in the fall. It is a product worth the money.
