Rocky’s strap kit for swimming pool solar blankets is the perfect way to replace lost or torn straps or add additional fasteners for holding your solar cover in place. This universal kit will work for above ground and in-ground solar covers — the straps are constructed of durable vinyl to ensure years of worry-free attachment.

Each solar blanket reel kit comes with 22 feet of sturdy straps, 18 inches of Velcro and 10 sets of grommets. Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim Holfstead from Does the trick This works perfect for the manufactures specifications. I attached a twelve mi. cover and couldn't be happier. The Velcro is only there to help with adjusting, when you are happy with the placement it recommends using self tap screws to secure the strap. The strapping itself is waterproof and stands up to a wet environment. I like that the grommets stay put and are designed to stay together. That being said make sure your happy with your pal cement before you put them together or you aren't getting them apart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cate from Disappointed This strap kit was purchased to replace the existing straps on our solar blanket. The product was difficult to put on and fell apart the first time we tried to reel in the blanket. Waste of time and money and we still don't have working straps. To be fair, this product may work better for someone that has a very lightweight solar blanket, but it didn't work for us. Our blanket is top of the line and has weight to it. However, the product should work for any solar blanket and not just the cheaper ones. Overall, "In the Swim" has proven to be a decent vendor and we will continue to buy from them. I blame the manufacturer of this product, not the seller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by reneen from do not order they only sent 2 feet of strapping per attachment. When my solar blanket is unreeled there is not enough strapping so all of the straps come un-velcroed ( at least those where the velcro stuck). Of course I couldn't return it because of the grommets and had to pay 50% for another one. Not a good experience
