With powerful and effective results, this pH increaser is available at only half the price. Whenever the pH level goes under 7.2 all you have to do is add pH increaser. This will reduce any acidity and fix water conditions.

The pH level of your pool water is a vital element of your pool's overall water chemistry. PH measures how acidic or basic the water is on a scale of zero to 14, with the ideal pH for swimming pools falling in the range of 7.2 to 7.6. When the pH level of your pool falls below 7.2, the water becomes acidic and can cause eye irritation, corrosion of metal pool equipment, dissipation of chlorine, etching of plaster walls and unsightly stains.

To prevent low pH problems from occurring, keep an eye on the pH level of your pool and, whenever it drops below 7.2, simply add pH increaser to raise the pH level into the 7.4-7.6 range. Your chlorine will be more stable, and other water balance parameters will too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stuff works, just be ready for a cloudy pool! While the price is great and it was shipped super fast, the product needs some clarification if you're using it. Number 1, be extremely careful not to use more than necessary: Number 2, be ready for a cloudy pool for at least 2 days; Number 3, be ready to vacuum the bottom of your pool after the 2-3 day wait so you can see the bottom of the pool again. All that said, the product did seem to increase the PH somewhat. Just be careful.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 45 or 50 lbs. of PH+-- which should you choose? If you have a sealable bucket, go for the 50 lb. bag-- same price as 45 lbs. in a bucket. Be aware, however, that the bag is similar to that used for cement or concrete mix. I found it was easier to transfer the material from the bag by placing the bag on a table and carefully slitting a part of the end. Be sure to do this with plenty of ventilation, as dust will occur. The PH+ chemical is the same as that found in the bucket, but at a cost saving. I feel it is worth the small inconvenience of the transfer!
