48Y motors have a Threaded Shaft with attached metal base. This Through-Bolt motor attaches to the pump via the bolts running through the motor housing.

48Y motors are commonly used as above ground pool pump motors, and these motors fit popular pumps like Astral Astra and Sena, FloPro K, American Maxim, Hayward Power-Flo II and LX, Pac-Fab Dynamo and OptiFlo, StaRite AG and JW, Waterway Executive, Hi-Flo, Supreme and Workman and Jacuzzi LR pumps.

Motors accept 115V, connect the power cord from your old pump or replace with new. Connect power cord to properly grounded GFCI outlet.
