The nets of our leaf nets and leaf rakes are molded into the rigid yet flexible aluminum frames to prevent tearing and other damage. Pool Leaf Rakes or Pool Skimmer Nets? In The Swim offers both types of pool leaf skimmers - a flat and wide dip net, and a wide and deep leaf rake. Our heavy duty skimmer nets are available in several sizes and grades, lightweight and maneuverable for light leaf skimming. Pool leaf rakes are made with a deep bag that can be pushed or pulled across the surface, or walked around the pool as a 'drag bag'. Leaf rake skimmers have a beveled front edge to allow you to scoop leaves from the pool floor, pool steps, or attached spas. Pool leaf rakes are also used to remove leaves from winter pool covers, when you don't use a Leaf Net cover.
