More About In-Ground Pool Alarms

In-ground pool alarms play a vital role in pool safety, and have saved countless thousands of lives over the last four decades. If a person or pet ever fell into your pool, a swimming pool alarm will sound a very loud beeping alarm to let you know there is trouble with someone in the water.

In The Swim carries several models of in-ground pool alarms at different price points so that safety is available to all. The PoolEye PE20 pool alarm detects objects that are 15 pounds or more in weight, eliminating false alarms from leaves, wind and rain or birds. The PoolGuard PGRM-2 pool alarm and the PoolEye PE23 Universal pool alarm also sound an alert at the pool, and also include a remote receiver that sounds the alarm inside your house, up to 200 ft. away.

Installing an in-ground pool alarm can be done in minutes. Poolside alarms operate on a 9V battery (not included), and the in-house remote alarm plugs into any outlet. PoolGuard and PoolEye PE23 inground pool alarms sit on the edge of the pool. To prevent knocking the alarm into the pool, the installation manuals suggest drilling a small hole in the deck to securely attach the alarm. PoolEye PE20 alarms include a coupler to attach to a pool ladder, or can be secured to the pool coping.

PoolEye and PoolGuard in-ground pool alarms meet all safety codes for water hazard safety alarms, and have over 50 years of combined experience in pool safety and security. Our in-ground pool alarms meet the ASTM Standard F2208, Standard Safety Specification for Residential Pool Alarms. They also meet state safety code requirements for pools located in CA, CT, FL, NY and TN.
