    Handheld Pool Vacuums

      Great buy
The pool blaster is excellent and is very easy to use; the bottom of our pool had many leaves. They were vaccumed up very fast and I did not have to get into the water as it was 62 degrees.

I loved this product but i had it for a little over a year and the water got into the battery pack and it won't work. I can't spend $90 per year to keep purchasing.

It is what I have been looking for!
I'm a senior and I like cleaning my pool. What I don't like is the hassle of hooking up the vacuum to the suction line, closing the other one , shutting down the bottom suction and then emptying the filter basket when there are a lot of leaves . Also with a lot of leaves on the bottom the suction head does a terrible job. The bristles on the head push the leaves away. One has to tilt the head for suction to pick them up. Time consuming so I bought the battery powered Pool Blaster Plus. Saves ... read more time but is usless with leaves . The vacuum throat is about an inch wide. So then I that saw that Pool Blaster came out with a battery powered leaf vac. I paid the $100 and I was glad that I did . It sucks just about everything up on the first path and fast. I can seeing myself using this all the time after the Spring vacuuming of the dead algae . Now here are the downsides. People complain that there is leakage of water into the batteries and causes the unit to fail. What I do is every time I use it is that I open up the battery compartment . I look for leakage ( so far none). If there was I would let it dry out. Another reviewer mentioned that he use Molykote to waterproof all the electrical components. That is my next step if I see leakage. This is such a great product that I would buy it again if it lasted only one season. The unit comes with 8 AA batteries. If it came in a sealed rechargeable ( Lithium) unit like the Pool Blaster Plus then there would be less chance of water leakage . MY guess is that they wanted to keep the price down. Not a good choice.

      Great product
If you own a pool, you will need this, it is a outstanding pool tool. Durable, well designed and makes pool maintenance much better. If you have a pool get one.

      Sturdy pole for longevity
Sturdy solidly-constructed with a good locking ring cam. Seems like it will last for many seasons. It is a bit heavier to use but the lighter poles always bend and warp or the locking rings loosen and crack. This pole is worth the price

      Great telepole
Works great for me. It was bought to replace an old pole that had warped. Seems very sturdy.

Really good in its first years. TBD reliability
Purchased this because I have limited time to hook up pool vacuum every day to clean dirt off my stairs, etc every day. Works really well. Doesn’t pick up leaves that well, but dirt gets sucked up nicely. I thought I’d need the sand and silt filter, but the standard one works well. Jury’s still out on whether it’ll last, but I contacted the manufacturer(watertech) who recommended not charging more than 4 hours at a time, rinse after use (have a saltwater pool), and to charge once every other ... read more month in the off season. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because there is a little black block on the head that comes off when using from time to time. Just snaps back into place.

      Pool Blaster Max li hd.
I had the pool sweeper broom and it died after a year so I decided to upgrade. The Max Li HD seems to pick up small dirt particles better than the other but seems to not pick up leaves as well. It is still better than using the vacuum attached to your garden hose. I like it for my 16 foot round above ground pool.

      Great Product
We love this product. Easy to use. Easier than standard vacuums and doesn't need a hose. Can be attached to a pole so you do not have to get into the pool unless you want to. This is our second one because we had the other for over 3 years and the battery would not recharge. We purchased the newer model instead of just a battery. It is nice because you can buy replacement parts if needed. We love it and would never go back to the old vacuums
