Ultimately mamba worked but instructions minimal and need magnifying glass to read. Help phone lines not as helpful as neighbor with experience

Easy to put together and easy to operate.
I have been using the Mamba Automatic Pool Vacuum for a few years. The one shown in the photo had no protection for the two plastic pipes that resulted in damage to one plastic pipe which affected the operation detrimentally. I had to tape over the cracked pipe damaged when the vacuum tried to pass the built in steps in the lower end of our pool. The latest model, the one I recently bought, has another protective plastic guard that covers the pipe preventing damage. Inexpensive/Good!

      Amazing Value!
The Mamba was easily assembled in a few minutes. I spent most of the time discovering that it was practically already assembled, while I was sorting out the parts. The only task requiring much focus was attaching the "shoe" and the "disc" to the bottom of the unit itself. It's a matter of getting it started and rotating it around until it's attached, kind of like putting a bicycle tire onto a bicycle rim. You just keep scooching it along and then all of a sudden, it's on. Everything else is just ... read more a little trial and error; the float ring should hold the hose up to the surface at the deepest part of the pool while allowing the cleaning head to remain attached at the bottom, and I started with the "flow regulator" at about 1/2 way which was perfect for my pool and filter. In about an hour and a half, the bottom of my pool was as clean as it could be! I get a kick out of watching it chug along!

      Works well, very cost effective
I bought the Jr. last season shortly after opening the pool. It performed very well, cleaning the entire pool in about three to four hours (16'x36'x3-8'deep, vinyl liner with skimmer, no bottom drain). Standard buoyancy floats allow unit to run approx.3 feet up the sidewalls. Covers entire bottom very well. I stored it in unheated garage over winter in Pennsylvania and the rubber parts (tracks and brushes) survived well, still look new. When opening the pool this year (we have winter safety ... read more cover with center mesh panels so there is always a layer of dirt in the middle of the pool) I dropped the unit in and let it run for about four hours, this removed the heavy dirt. I then brushed the bottom and sidewalls and ran the unit again the following day for about 8 hours and the pool was perfectly clean. Continues to work very well in second year. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced cleaner. Instructions say not to run skimmer when cleaner is in operation, however I do as it has a fairly powerful pump which turns the entire pool volume over a couple times in a three to four hour run. This allows the skimmer and DE filter to remove fine particles which pass thru the filter bag. Cleanup after run is just to remove and rinse the filter bag and store the unit in the shed. Total time I spend cleaning the pool on Saturday mornings is only about 15 minutes compared to about two hours when I used to vacuum the pool by hand.

      Makes life a bit easier
I bought the aqua bot and it works very well. Yes the pattern is a bit random but it climbs walls cleans the floor. Cleaning the bag is a bit hard bc everything is wet and it sticks. Set up for aquabot is feet easy. I had so much of that tumbleweed stuff and it picked all of It up! Only thing is I didn’t get extra bag. Unless it just means 1 Bag.

Very good , save me time
This is my first auto pool cleaner , it is easy to set up. Just a little heavy, otherwise,it is a very good tool to clean the pool.

      We call him Robbie
I've had my pool rover robot for 3 years now, and I have been totally satisfied with his performance. He does a great job picking up debris, and it's very relaxing to just watch him go back and forth around the pool! My only problem is getting him out of the pool, unless I actually go into the water.

      Safe bet.
I've only had this one season and so far so good. I have a 27 foot round above ground with a dish in the middle and this thing manages the pool well. I haven't needed to use it a ton but it does a good job of cleaning and the unit is easy to clean out and maintain.

      Waiting for a working model
I've had a pool rover for 5 years now, but I finally had to order a new one. Ordered the similar model and it didn't work properly. Was told by In-the-Swim that I had to contact the manufacturer, which I did. I've returned the product and am still waiting for the new one. Hoping to have the same fantastic and long-lived performance as the original.

      Satisfactions
Aquabot Auto Pool Cleaner is a great little cleaner. It does unfortunately get stuck on my steps and on my deep end drains. We have used it a few times thus far and are pretty happy with its overall performance!

      Very Satisfied
This seems to be working great. I LOVE the extra bags that came with it and a big reason I ordered this cleaner. If I were to say anything negative about it, it would be that it doesn't seem to "climb" the walls of the pool as well as my last cleaner did. I like this cleaner because it doesn't go through the pump and pool lines. I have a lot of trees around my pool and always fearful of something clogging up the lines.

Good but not as good as my old one
Previously we had a yellow aquabot that was heavier and seemed to do a better job. This unit does work, and the bags are easier to clean.

      No insructions
I had no clue how to work it properly. There were two rubber gaskets over the jets which impeded it. I would put it in the pool and it would barely move. I had to figure out on my own that these two gaskets would not open properly. Once I removed them I got both jet and suction action. The bags are kind of heavy and really don't get smaller particles very well but it's awesome on bigger trash like leaves and twigs.

      LOVE IT!!
I have owned my aquabot for several years (18x36' inground vinyl liner pool) and NEVER had an issue with it! I often tell people it's the best $800.00 I ever spent! No fighting aboout who is going to vacuum the pool...more time to enjoy! We don't remove the ladders or anything...occasionally some dirt was left @ the main drain in the deep end...then we figured out that the "draw" of water in the main drain was stronger than the aquabot, so we turned off the filter for a little while...problem ... read more solved! Totally clean pool...BUY IT!

      Wouldn't own pool without it!
I've had my Aquabot for over 6 years now, still going strong. Does excellent job cleaning pool. I use it once a week for 6 -7 hours per cleaning. 20 x 40 vinyl inground pool. I remove my ladder before cleaning so the aquabot doesn't get hung up. Common sense, people! Can get tangled in cord occasionally, but not much of a problem. Best pool purchase I've made. Love this unit.
