Keep Your Pool's Liner in Place with Coping Strips

Made to hold overlap vinyl liners in place, a coping strip attaches to the top of an above-ground pool underneath the top rail. These strips are made of heavy-duty, non-corroding plastic, are easy to install and economical. Simply use the coping strips to clip an overlap vinyl liner to the top of your pool’s retaining wall, replace the top rail and enjoy several seasons of use. Be sure to check the coping strips regularly, however, for cracking or wear — by replacing the strips regularly, you’ll be able to extend the life of your vinyl liner. read more

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smaller than expected I haven't installed them yet, but the price was good, shipping was fast. Only worry is that these strips are much smaller than the original ones I had. Looks flimsy compared to what i'm replacing. I'll update my review after install if I have issues.

      How Many Do I Need?
24 in. Liner Coping Strips Required
Pool Size: Number of 24 inch Lengths:
      12 ft. Round 20
      15 ft. Round 24
      18 ft. Round 30
      24 ft. Round 38
      27 ft. Round 44
      15 x 30 Oval 38
      16 x 32 Oval 40
      18 x 33 Oval 42

48 in. Liner Coping Strips Required
Pool Size: Number of 48 inch Lengths:
      12 ft. Round 10
      15 ft. Round 12
      18 ft. Round 15
      24 ft. Round 19
      27 ft. Round 22
      15 x 30 Oval 19
      16 x 32 Oval 20
      18 x 33 Oval 21

Use the below equation to figure out how many coping strips are needed:
        2 x 3.14 x radius of the pool then divide by 2

      Example: 24' round pool
      2 x 3.14 x 12 = 75.36; 75.36 / 2 = 37.68

A total of 38 24" strips are needed for a 24' round pool.

To determine how many 48" strips are needed, divide you answer again by 2.
