No More Leaky Bags ─ Hold Your Winter Cover Securely with Unbreakable Aqua Blocks

Created by a pool owner who was tired of replacing his winter cover weights every year, Aqua Blocks are for repeated use year after year. These three-foot-long blocks are made of durable black polyethylene with a UV inhibitor that resists cracking and fading.

To use, fill the Aqua Blocks with water and place them on top of your in-ground pool's winter cover around the pool deck. In the spring, simply empty the water and stack the Aqua Blocks inside each other for easy storage. These blocks fill easily and their lids feature snap-lock covers to keep the water from sloshing out as you’re placing them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from water blocks One to every six feet on a flat inground poll works good. Fill up and zip tie the tops on because they will come off. $2.00 for a hundred ties at harbor freight or amazon. If you're gonna spend $100 for twelve what's two bucks. On an above ground pool on the deck just make sure they are secure. I mean how hard is that. I have nothing to do with this company and even I can see common since. The box's are easy to fix with RTV silicone because if your like mean you might drop one or a lid and need to repair it. Wipe area with alcohol and use clear RTV available everywhere and wait 24 hours and good as new, not like patching a bag that will leak again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best time saver yet After 2 off-seasons with water bags, I just got enough of the aqua blocks to cover about 3/4 of the perimeter, thinking I could use the remaining bags that had not already broken for the rest. I loved the 3 sides that got aqua blocks, and cursed the entire time on the side with the bags because it took twice as long as the other 3 sides combined, and got me all wet! I have already replaced 2 bags due to leakage in the last 2 months. Next year, it is all blocks, all the way. Any money spent on the blocks will be made up in time savings with your first install and spring takedown - definitely a must purchase for people like me who HATE pool maintenance!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Aqua Block are convenient but…. not unbreakable. I purchase 28 Aqua blocks 2 winters ago. The first winter I lost one, when the wind blew the cover off. That spring I notice several of the lids had cracked tabs that hold them to the aqua block. The next winter I used duct tape to hold the lids in place. Overall that worked well, except I lost two when the bottoms cracked. My recent bulk order is to replace those and some lids beyond repair. Even using the duct tape, the Aqua blocks are much faster and easier to manage than water tubes, but at a significant price. The unbreakable claim is a stretch. The product needs some improvements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aqua blocks I had purchased these blocks 15 years ago at a local pool store . Untill now I could not find a dealer who carried them ( thank you). I needed to replace some that have become brittle and will continue to due the same as the old ones are all replaced. They are a better way to secure your pool cover . The ease of placing and filling make it a breeze . Storing is also better as they stack well one inside the other. Much better than the moldy blue bags I use to use UGH! I highly recommend these blocks they last much longer that the awful blue bags . The blue bags generally only lasted one year. Do the math it's a much better investment.
