Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't ever write reviews, but we bought this last summer and really never got to use it as we are still dealing with trying to get it work properly and without leaking or coming apart. I originally thought that trying to figure out how to plumb the water under our already concreted deck would be the biggest problem. Turns out, that was the easiest thing to do! It was not as easy to install this Helix slide as depicted in the online videos, which contradicted the steps in the manual. The manual did not give specific enough measurements for placement on the deck, which can be a problem. Even with 3 capable adults (one of whom installed the entire inground pool himself!) at times, it was still not an easy assembly. The slide manufacturer was not helpful when trying to install or deal with a safety issue. The slide actually pulled apart between the top ladder section and top of slide after the first week of normal use and not due to installer error (it pulled apart between the factory set bolt insets). We feel that this slide was very poorly engineered. The manufacturer was not at all helpful nor sympathetic to our situation and only suggested a replacement top (and did follow through by sending that but we have not been able to change it due to our own time constraints because it will not be an easy process). Even when we do change the top, I will still worry that it will pull apart again because of where it connects and how it is connected. Then, I will have to make some calls to the safety commission. Nonetheless, we have wasted countless hours (that we do not have to waste!) trying to correct the problems. I feel we have an overpriced piece of plastic, that we aren't even sure of the safety, sitting out next to our pool that the kids can't even use. We were so excited to make this purchase, that was quite expensive, and have only ended up disappointed every time we look at it. Not sure if this particular one was a "lemon", but if I l had it to do over, we would do without a slide. I do want to say that even the though the manufacturer didn't make this any better, In the Swim was very sympathetic and very helpful to our situation. I was very impressed with their customer service and would not hesitate to deal with them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This slide looks really fun, but the sides are not high enough, if you are not carefully you will go flying off after you come around the last curve, and I don't mean flying off into the water. I would NOT buy this again. Stick to the regular slides.
