In the Swim granular lithium pool shock is make of lithium hypochlorite which acts and dissolves faster than granular calcium hypochlorite (Cal-Chlor) found in most pool shock. This leads to highly efficient removal of microorganisms like bacteria and algae for a beautifully clear swimming pool. Granular lithium pool shock will not affect your pool’s calcium hardness either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crystal Clear I use only 3, 1 1/2 teaspoon scoops of this shock in my 10 x 7 iPool (2200 gallons) 3 times a week. Water is super clear, I never worry about going away for a few days because if the pool is a bit cloudy when I get back, I know a double dose, twice as much, will clear it up within 24 hours or even much faster than that. Never need use an algaecide. I wouldn't consider using any other chlorine for my pool, Lithium is worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pool shock! This shock is a great find. A bit on the high side, but it doesn't cloud the water & is easy to maintain the chlorine. I dissolve in a 5 gallon bucket & disperse into my pool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I've never had to balance the water in our pool or open it in the spring. My husband always did that. Then he died unexpectedly and I had to do the pool. I didn't have a clue what to do or how to do it and no one to ask. The first two years it took me a month to balance the water and allot of reading and allot of chemicals. Then I read about Lithium Shock. I cleaned all the debris out, added the Lithium, waited four days, added some regular shock, waited a couple of days, added an algaecide, then shocked again. After that I used the chorine tablets in the skimmer and it's clean!! I vacuumed every day but this has been the least money I've spent on chemicals and fastest, easiest balancing I've ever done. The only problem was the ph was really high so I added ph reducer and borax and that seemed to solve the problem. I love this product!! I only used half of the order of Lithium shock ($25 worth) and six bags of regular chorine shock so I'm way ahead of the game money wise.
