Rated 1 out of 5 by Russ010 from Run away... fast! Pool was built / finished in July 2016. The TVP500 worked great for a couple months, then wouldn't reverse itself at any time. Pool guys brought a 2nd replacement. 3 months later, same issue. Now for the last 2 months it's doing it all over again and supposedly Hayward is correcting this and I'm waiting on a 3rd replacement (per pool builder). Funny how there are not many reviews of this except for negatives... I would listen to these negative reviews and find something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DakP from Buyer Beware! I've had this cleaner for almost 6 months. I've read every tip and watched every video (the owners manual is no help, neither is Hayward) and I can not get it to do its job. It is a poor design on several fronts, many of which I could live with if it performed its primary function of cleaning debris from the bottom of my pool. But alas, it fails miserably at this as well. I have owned several pools and several different pool cleaners, this is the first one I felt compelled to warn people about.
