Internal brushes on the Hayward TigerShark robotic pool cleaner scrub every inch of your pool’s surfaces, including the bottom, walls and stairs, while the vacuum sucks up the debris into its own built-in cartridge filter. The cartridge filter is easy to remove and clean. Once the TigerShark is done cleaning on its self-determined pattern, it shuts down automatically to save energy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought my first Tigar Shark QC around nine years ago and had issues with the tracks breaking at the seams the two years but was covered under the warranty. The only gripe I had was that I had to ship the cleaner back to Hayward and pay the postage a couple of times after that they prepaid the postage for me. I just ordered my new Tigar Shark QC as the motor after nine or so years seized in my old Tigar Shark. All in all, I have been very happy with my old Tigar shark and looking forward to recieving my new one in a few days as I really have missed having a pool cleaner that does a wonderful job. Does anyone need parts?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I originally purchased a 'bargain' price model. It didn't do well, so I asked "In the Swim" to allow me to return that unit and send me the Hayward TigerShark. It does more than I ever expected and worth every penny of the additional cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cleans good BUT----- I bought the tiger shark last August. It cleans good but during fall the leaves in the pool got up into the housing and I could not switch handle from side to side. The housing is all scratched up from the pebble coat surface on the pool. The tiger shark gets hung up on seat area in the pool, turns over, then turns off. Cord gets kinked and tangled. My robot is not as smart about where it needs to go as I would like. And it's like trying to pull a wet bear out of the pool to clean, very cumbersome, and back breaking. Disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It cleans and works well I bought the Tiger Shark last year (2013) and I have used it now for one and a half seasons. It has worked very well. It cleans the pool beautifully and picks up almost all of the leaves, small sticks, dirt, dead worms, etc. The cord is long enough to reach every part of the pool and the Tiger Shark (TS) does not get stuck in the pool ladder in the deep end. It does go way up the sides of the pool and even cleans much of the tile on the top side of the pool. The TS has two filters inside which are accessible from the bottom of the TS. There are two small plastic pieces that can be pushed out from the metal loops on the bottom sides. Then the entire bottom can be removed including the filter holder and the two filters on each side of the filter holder. The filters are then cleaned out with a garden hose with the nozzle on the concentrated setting so you get a directed water thrust that cleans out the paper or fabric folds of the filter. It takes about 10 or 15 minutes to really clean out the filters if you want them really clean. You also have to spray off the bottom of the TS and the filter holder. The filters fit into the slots on each side of the filter holder. I still use the original filters that came with the TS but they are getting kind of thin in places. So I purchased a pair of replacement filters for about $35. That seems a little expensive but they have lasted a decent amount of time. The TS can also be repaired and serviced at a local pool shop which I think is a great advantage. I have an Aquabot but the cord seems to have become disconnected or broken and the only way to fix it is to send it back to the manufacturer several states away (I think N.J. whereas I am in Mo) where they take it apart and tell you all you need to fix it. That obviously means lots of costs and expense. I will never buy another Aquabot that can't be fixed locally. The Aquabot was expensive and I am angry about the problem of getting it fixed at such an enormous cost. That is why I decided to buy an TS instead.
