Floating solar powered pool lights are a great addition to any pool or pond. This solar powered light gathers the energy in the day and uses the energy at night. Rotating color wheel alternates between seven colors. Floats in your pool, spa or pond, or can be used with built-in base as an attractive tabletop or walkway accent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from floating light fiasco These lights look good, but with any impact, the batteries become dislodged. There is a space inside between the battery compartment and the outside housing & there is nothing to hold them in place. You have to open the lights to reinstall the batteries, but then the seal is compromised and water can seep in. If you have these & have to open them up, tape the batteries in place or put a piece of sponge to hold the batteries in place, and then use some clear silicone caulk to seal the light again. (I learned the hard way & wrote to the manufacturer.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect gift for someone with everything I sent these to my 80 year old father who literally has everything he needs, for his birthday a few years ago. I called him after he put them in his pool and he raved about how he awaoe in the middle of the night and looked out his window and saw the pool all lit up in beautiful colors from the lights. He sounded like a happy little boy on Christmas morning. Much to my surprise he was thrilled at the inexpensive gift lights I had sent. 2 years later he called me and asked me if I could send him a few more, he liked them so much, so I did. I also sent him 2 more for CHristmas this year and he will get them in a few weeks and be sooooo happy. How can I go wrong? Father was never this happy about any gifts I had ever sent, in all the years I have known him. I am grateful to have found them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Don't give off much light. The plastic has turned yellow therefore the light emission is even less. Of the four I purchased, one light only lasts about 15 minutes, on one the solar collector has detached itself and will not charge. Cannot leave in the pool because of size. It will get sucked into the skimmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for the money! I purchased 4 Floating Solar Pool Lights the first part of May 2007. After exposing them to direct sunlight all day, they stay lit from dusk till dawn. I like the alternating colors from blue to green to red; our neighbors said they look like little flying saucers from a distance the way the colors seem to swirl around as they change from one to another. I accidentally dropped two of them on the cement and I thought they'd had it, since each had a small crack on the top, but when darkness fell they lit back up again and still floated. The small cracks were easily repaired with a clear 'Amazing Goop' type glue and now they're as good as new. It's now the almost the beginning of July 2007 and all four are still lit every night. We leave them sit on the edge of the pool during the day and either leave them there or throw them in the pool at night. I'm going to buy more of these little lights. They hold up well and stay working; night after night. Helpful Hint: We found if we turn off the pool pump, they don't all end up clogging the skimmer.
