Rated 1 out of 5 by Stacky from Do not waste your money! Followed the directions! Put water in filter first about half full then added the filter glass. Rinsed. Etc. Every week I have to vacuum a lot of it back out of the pool. I just drained the filter today no broken parts so I will try pea gravel on the bottom. With filter glass on top. I hate to just throw it out and waist $100.00 but I have a feeling that is what is going to happen and will go back to sand!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by willrev from Awesome Product Set up a new above ground pool. Installed a sand filter and 1/2 HP pump. 10,000 gals. Filter holds 50 pounds. I chose to use this after reading various info online. There are some people who don't buy into this new technology. I want to tell you it works! I did not put rocks in the bottom of my filter. I backwashed for a few minutes until the water came out clear. I let it run 24 hours and backwashed again and nothing came out dirty. The pool is crystal clear. The pressure on the gauge is very low as the water flows through the glass easily. Yet it filters extremely well. I scrubbed the pool and yesterday the water was so cloudy you could not see the liner. One day later it is clear as it can be. I feel this is a great new product.
