Aqualon Pool Rover S2-50 Automatic Pool Cleaner Does the Dirty Work for You

The Aqualon Pool Rover automatically cleans up small and big debris like leaves, dirt, algae and even small pebbles in your pool. The debris is deposited into an onboard large capacity bag that is easily cleaned out when the cleaning is done. The Pool Rover navigates itself around small obstacles in in-ground pools and will also work in flat-bottomed and dished-out above ground pools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My aquabot pool Rover S2-50 is amazing! I love this vacuum. I can't believe how much it picks up. Not only debris, but if there is any algea, it gets that too! I use it once a week and absolutely love it. It does stop sometime in the middle of the pool, or keeps going in same direction, but directed. I just adjust the axle pins and it's good to go! Great product. Go Rover!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Pool Rover! This year both our leaf cover and winter cover split so all the sludge that was on top emptied out into our pool. It was gross to say the least. I emptied the pool to about a quarter of the way up so that I could get in there and try to "shovel" the sludge out. I spent over 4 hours trying to do that and I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. A friend mentioned this product and while I was a little hesitant, it worked miracles! I had to run it about 4-5 times (remember I had a lot of sludge at the bottom) but after that, pretty much everything was picked up. Filled the pool and we were ready to go within a few days. I have used it twice more since then for a quick clean up and I still love it. Does all the work for me so I can just lay in the pool and relax!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap bags Product works well, except for the bags. The bags are so cheap that there is a hole in both after only a few uses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating waste of money This is my third automatic pool cleaner. (My experience, they last about three seasons.) My first two were Aquabot Pool Rover T Jr. and I loved them. I decided to "upgrade" to this model last year. What a mistake. The body of the cleaner is lightweight - wherein lies the problem. The cleaner has one set of wheels that slides, moving it straight in one direction, and on a slight curve in the reverse direction. The body is so lightweight, there is not enough friction on the pool bottom to slide the wheels - so the cleaner spends all it's time moving back and forth in the same path. Our solution was to put a brick inside the body (literally). This helped, but even with the brick, it is not as good at cleaning the entire pool as my previous bots. I have to keep an eye on it and occasionally push it in a different direction or one half of the pool will be cleaned excessively, and the other half not touched. (the number of times I have found it running circles around the parameter of the pool... ) Can't wait for it to die so I can replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Bought this to save time vacuuming the pool. It works really well. It takes us about 2 long pool cycles to do the whole pool. 18'x33' however that was when it was first opened and really dirty. Going forward it should do it all with one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok, but not what I expected I purchased this based on others reviews and the price seemed more reasonable. It is not exactly what I expected. It does not completely go forward all the way & backward all the way, it stops short of getting to the walls & does not climb the walls all the way to the tile as others have stated. However the machine is easy to open & netting that comes with it is easy to put on. I ran it on large pool and there was a lot of sand and leaves it had picked up but there is not a consistent line of cleaning, it missed a lot! It also shuts off or quits working after the allotted (per "large pool") 2 hours and I had to pull it from the deep end near the drains and tried to restart it on large pool, it did the same moves. I have a 26,000 gallon pool with a 4 ft shallow & 8 ft deep end and dramatic stairs with a tanning ledge. So much for hoping to not have to brush my pool to keep it clean. Others stated they could "tweak it" but I have not found where that is possible on this machine. I would recommend for a really small pool, but not large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aquabot Pool Rover S2-50; My Review When I purchased this pool cleaner; I had already used and was not satisfied with most above ground, non electric pool cleaners. This cleaner was recommended by a patient of mine, so I decided to order it. OMG; it has been outstanding. It thoroughly cleaned our pool in two hours. We love it. My husband stated that it would be great if it had a scrubber on it, but he still loves it. We have had a pool for over 10 years; I am finally comfortable with keeping it clean. Thumbs up little Rover!!
