Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plain & Simple I have had a pool for about 15 years now. Chlorine level and PH level have been all I need to keep the water crystal clear and PH balanced. Other family members have bought me more sophisticated testing kits but I have ended up just using the basics. As far as I'm concerned, "if it's not broke, don't fix it".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the $$ First time I bought one this year as soon as I put it in the water the tester fell apart. The chlorine bottle wouldn't release a drop at a time. When you would squeeze to make the liquid drop it would not drop or squirt out to much. So In the Swim replaced it right away, I mean overnighted it to me. The next one was almost as bad. I am still using it but the color tabs fell out on both sides so water gets down in it, much less falls to the bottom of the pool if your not paying attention. Nothing against In the Swim, they just need a better supplier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Have used similar tet kits before with no problem. However this one seems to have inaccurate color bars to compare the water sample to after adding the reagent. I was wondering why our pool water kept gatting cloudy until I discovered that the test kit was giving a higher Cl reading than actual. Fortunately I still have the old test kit and now use that one with the new reagents.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work I tried this test kit because my father uses a similar one and he loves it. I have tried using this kit several times and have followed the instructions to the letter. However, the readings I get are never close to the reading the pool store gets when I take my water in for testing. This kit was a waste of money. The dipping strips are more accurate.
