      Money well spent
This is our second year of using this pump and it's still working like brand new. For the money, it's definitely a great little pump and keeps our cover clear of excess water.

good pumping rate but weak housing
I bought this pump this fall and already used for pumping water from the cover. The hose connector is inserted into the hole in the body which has rather thin wall thickness. After few insertions the body developed a crack. Pump was operational but I was afraid that it will not leave long and glued the hose connector into the hole with PVC glue. Will see how it will last.

      Handy tool
I have not used the removal/installation tool yet. I did watch a pool tech from the company that closed our pool this year and have no doubt that it will work as well as the device he used.

      As advertised
My pool is 30 years old. I have 3 types of anchors currently. As they go bad I have been switching to the Meyco screw type. The switch has been pretty easy and the Meyco anchors work great.

      Installation Rod was a lifesaver
I decided to close my pool on my own this year. I purchased the installation rod and it made quick work of putting the safety cover on my inground pool. The customer service was great, the item was shipped quickly and I would recommend without reservations!

      Replacement anchors
My old anchors were worn from the severe winters we have in the northeast. These are the same as the originals and fit neatly in the replacement holes.

Crystal clear pool on spring opening
We've been using this product for 3 years (after a horrible experience opening our pool) and we wouldn't close or open our pool without it now. Great product.

      Great Product
This was recommend by our pool installation contractor. We tried the Pool magic and have used it for the last five seasons.

      Great Product
I have been using this product for the past two years, Spring and Fall. I have a mesh safety cover and when I open the pool the water is clear.

Does the job - but with a catch
I bought one of these and used it for 2 seasons. I found the water to be very clean once it was removed - but then there was the chore of cleaning and storing yet another cover. It floats but a certain amount of water does puddle in places and algae grows there, so although the pool water is clear, the cover is pretty nasty on top. I have an approximate 20'x40' lazy L, so this thing is BIG. It has bubbles on it like a solar cover, which makes it float. These bubbles mean you can't walk on it ... read more to clean, so you're forced to fold it and clean one side at a time, but then the clean side is laying where the dirty side was just previously. I have an electric pressure washer and even being very careful it would pop some bubbles, so I stopped. An RV brush was the best but still it was very awkward trying to fold and clean it. Once somewhat clean (I never was very successful), and let to dry, roll it up and put it, for us, in the basement - a 5' tall roll about 2 1/2 ft. in diameter. I gave it 3 stars because, on one hand it does keep the water clean, but on the other it did not save me time or effort. I stopped using it because I found it easier to deal with pool water cleanup than to clean and store the cover. My eventual solution was to buy a quality suction side cleaner. That simplified vacuuming and my pool cleanup is very easy. I don't even use water bags any more, even though they helped keep debris from going under the cover. That saved the time of cleaning and storing them, too. The year after buying the suction cleaner I also changed from sand to cartridge filters and cleanup is even easier (no backflushing during the cleanup time).

I really won't have an opinion until I open next
I installed the cover and cut it to fit,it actually made putting the safety cover on easier. I really won't have an opinion until I open again to see if it was worth the expense

      Black cover protects pool.
The black Safety Cover Mate helps protect the pool from an algy bloom over the winter months when the pool sleeps. We use the Safety Cover Mate under a mesh cover.

      water blocks
One to every six feet on a flat inground poll works good. Fill up and zip tie the tops on because they will come off. $2.00 for a hundred ties at harbor freight or amazon. If you're gonna spend $100 for twelve what's two bucks. On an above ground pool on the deck just make sure they are secure. I mean how hard is that. I have nothing to do with this company and even I can see common since. The box's are easy to fix with RTV silicone because if your like mean you might drop one or a lid and need ... read more to repair it. Wipe area with alcohol and use clear RTV available everywhere and wait 24 hours and good as new, not like patching a bag that will leak again.

      Well made
Trying these for the first time. The water bags only last a couple years until the ice causes them to leak. They are very well made so they should hold up.

Better option for closing the pool.
Much easier to fill than water bags. Light weight and easy to position around the pool before filling,

The Safety Cover Installation Rod is the second main tool that every safety cover owner needs. Notched steel tube with heavy duty handle allows for levering the strap spring over the cover anchors. For removal, twist the Installation Rod between the spring and anchor and simply lean it forward, towards the pool.

Extension Straps and Hardware: Extension Straps are used to extend the cover straps to anchors placed off the pool deck, or beyond a planter area. The Y-Strap for safety covers is used when a diving board, fountain or other large obstruction, allowing you to connect to two anchors on either side. In this section we also have replacement stainless steel safety cover Strap Buckles and cover Strap Tips. Stainless steel rings are used in place of the cover spring, in cases where a wall is tall wall is within 15" of the pool edge.

Specialty Anchors and Stakes: Specialty safety cover anchors are aluminum Cover Stakes that can be used in planter or grassy areas, or in paver pool decks. In this section we also have cover Wall Anchors used for installing safety covers on inground pools with raised wall or raised deck areas.
