      Skimmer
We have had 2 leaf skimmers and both tore very easily. This one seems to be stronger and will hopefully last longer than the others.

      Great, for what it is.
I wanted a cheap plastic rimmed net for my liner pool. I'm concerned that this metal rimmed net may harm the bottom of the pool. I'll have to be careful but I have too many friends that like to "help" me dip. Some of them are pretty aggressive and could rip the liner.

      Much better than my previous
I purchased this net after my original broke. This one has a much wider side that enables me to pick up more leaves out of the pool with out them falling off. However the mesh has much smaller holes in it so it can get quite heavy when lifting it since it is holding more water. I have started lifting it out of the water slower than my previous to allow the water to drain. Even with a bunch of leaves and the water on it, it doesn't flex at all. This is much better than my original net that it replaced.

      Best Pole Ever
I have a pool route (50 pools). I have two of these poles. I neeed a pole that wouldn't bend and break. The pole is expensive but you get what you pay for. Well worth the money.

      Seems to be commercial grade
This pole replaces a 40+ year old pole The only thing I have a concern is why In the swim charges the handling fee In this time of free shipping and other things makes no sense

      Very sturdy, heavy duty!!
I bought this just a few weeks ago and so far am loving it. I've had other "cheap" poles in the past and was tired of them constantly not working. So I purchased this product and I could tell right away that is was a good quality, heavy duty item. So glad to have a pole that when extended doesn't curve/bend under the pressure.

      VERY HIGH QUALITY
This is probably the best pool leaf take I have ever had. I used to stay up late wondering when a really good pool leaf rake would be invented, well my wait is over. Not since the scientists of Loa Alamos has a better result been accomplished. WELL DONE SIRS AND MADAMES!

Much better than standard leaf rake!
I've been buying the standard leaf rakes for years and they're always breaking after a couple of seasons (I'm probably a little rough with them, though, trying to pick up a ton of leaves etc at once). This year I ordered the pro-strength leaf rake and wow, what a difference. The frame is much more solid - aluminum, not just plastic. The bag is heavy duty and the rake's design makes it very easy to scoop up leaves and debris from the bottom of the pool. I have a feeling I'll be using this one for ... read more years. Great product!

      Wow!
Why didn't someone tell me this was the easiest way to get leaves out of the inground pool? Almost 14 years of vacuuming leaves into the small skimmer basket, which fills up soooo quickly, continuously emptying. Not to mention the backwashing of the filter! This leaf rake cut the job in half and even will pick up small particles of dirt! No more vacuuming for me. A must have tool if you own a pool with a lot of trees around!

      OK leaf rake
I really wanted to be able to give this 5 stars. It's got high quality construction and looks like it will last a long time. But there's a couple of problems that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. The mesh netting is very stiff and that makes it difficult to empty the net (it won't easily turn inside out to allow the leaves to fall out). The stiff mesh also makes it easy for the leaves to come back out of the net while it's still under the water - you have to be careful to avoid this ... read more from happening. The lip on the front doesn't reach from end-to-end, so it's hard to pick up the leaves along the edges or in the corners. Also, it seems that the angle of the rake against the pool bottom is important - it picks up better in the shallow end than in the deep end because of the higher angle. It doesn't glide along the pool bottom as smoothly as I'd like. Finally, since this is a larger/commercial size rake, it can get pretty heavy. I expected this so it doesn't affect the rating, but I wanted to include that information for others. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this leaf rake.

      Great for removing leaves
Once you figure out how to use it, its awesome. Once the leaves are scooped up, you pull back to move them to the bottom of the net. Keep scooping and pulling back. When it full, take it off the pole and turn the next inside out to empty. Very easy.

      3rd Time Lucky!
Dear Dr. Pool, I have a large in-ground pool with something everyone wants...a pump and filter system that works like a charm and has the suction power of half of Hoover Dam. To vacuum it, I bought my first telescope pole at one of the local pool stores. When I vacuumed the pool, the vacuum head was nearly impossible to push because the suction of the pool system held it in place like a pice of cement. To move it, I had to bend the telescope pole against the side of the pole to lift the vacuum ... read more off the bottom. SNAP! The pole immediately broke in half! I went to another local pool store and bought a new telescope pole and a "premier" vacuum head with larger wheels to lift it off the pool floor a bit more, hoping that would ease the suction up. It was a bit easier to push, but in the deep end, the suction was too much and I again had to bend the pole against the side of the pool to lift the vacuum off the bottom. SNAP TWO! I picked up the phone and ordered "In the Swim's" Professional Telepole. This 3-piece pole extends from 8 to 21 feet and has an extra heavy-duty aluminum frame that doesn't bend or break and makes vacuuming my pool a breeze (not to mention it was $3 cheaper than the second pole I purchased in town!). So it looks like I won't be buying anymore telepoles from In the Swim for a couple of years at least. It's a great product. Thanks!

      GOOD PRODUCTS
Everything arrived as expected and everything works great, pole is sturdy and larger pool brush makes quick work of the pool now. I had and still have a smaller one that i use on the walls of the pool, but the larger one i use on the pool floor and it takes no time with it. Good products and priced very good. Thanks In The Swim.....

It got bent during shipment, but still somewhat useful.

      Simple and useful but
Like the compact design of the vacuum head but for some reason the bristle inserts that are removable under the vacuum head break off, second use in one year, they are there to brush up the debris, without them, the head creates a suction bond with the bottom of the pool making it useless. Looking for replacements bristle inserts.

About Leaf Nets and Pool Skimmers

Removing leaves, bugs and other debris from your in-ground or above ground pool doesn't have to be a difficult chore. With the help of pool leaf nets and pool skimmers and other handheld pool skimmers, your pool can be completed quickly and easily. Our leaf nets and pool skimmers feature heavy-duty frames and nets so they can be used to remove surface debris season after season. The nets of our leaf nets and pool skimmers are molded into the rigid yet flexible frames to prevent tearing and other damage. The nets are also made from fine mesh material to provide exceptional skimming by ensuring that even small insects and debris particles are caught in the net for easy removal. Furthermore, In the Swim's pool leaf skimmers will attach to any telescopic pole to extend their reach and to enhance their convenience. In the Swim's pool leaf rakes are also durable and feature heavy-duty construction. Our swimming pool leaf rakes come with large volume bags to hold more leaves at one time. In the Swim's swimming leaf net and pool skimmers provide excellent leaf-grabbing action so pool owners can remove large numbers of leaves from their pool in a very short amount of time. In addition to our leaf nets and pool skimmers, we also offer pool cover leaf dredges which allow for the easy removal of leaves and other debris from pool covers without causing any cover damage. While we offer a number of leaf nets and pool skimmers, our selection of products also includes in-pool skimmers such as the Skim-It and the PoolSkim. These swimming pool leaf skimmers can cut down the necessity for handheld skimming by up to 75% and can be used in both above ground and in-ground swimming pools. These pool leaf skimmers work by guiding floating debris to the in-pool unit or to the pool's existing skimmer.
