      Survived New York Winter
This worked great and was put to the test last winter. Living in Central New York, where we talk of snow in terms of feet, not inches, it was put to the test. We had no skimmer problems at all.

      Does the job

      Works great!
Work as advertised. In conjunction with a return plug, allowed me to keep water in pool through the winter without any damage or water loss.

      Great Product!!
I WOULD SPEND A LOT OF TIME DRAINING AND REFILLING MY INGROUND POOL AT THE END AND BEGINNING OF EACH SEASON. THESE VALVES HAVE SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME WINTERIZING AND RE-OPENING MY POOL EACH YEAR. ANOTHER GREAT THING IS THAT YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO REPLACE THE STANDARD VALVES WITH PLUGS DURING THE WINTER. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY CENT!!

      Awesome
I can't believe I didn't know about these sooner. it is the best pool closing thing I ever bought. Blowing lines is soooo easy with this.

Still Works great 5 years in!
Purchased two of these 5 years ago. Both fit perfectly and make blowing out the lines a simple task. Never once had a leaking issue or functional issues with these. I clean them off nicely before each years installation and gently coat the rubber parts with pool lube just to be sure. Have them in my hand ready to install for a 6th closing, very impressed with this purchase!

      So happy!
Spectacular investment! I have a maple tree right over the pool, so lots of leaves, and this is soooo much better at getting them all. The water jets don’t let anything get away.

A few little gulps and leaves are gone!
We purchased this, but did not use it the first year....that has not happened since!!!!!! .We live in the country with huge old trees surrounding us....depending on when we close the pool in the fall, we sometimes have quite a few leaves around the bottom drain of our inground pool when we open it in the Spring. You hook the hose up to this thing, and the pressure from the water of the hose forces those leaves up into the bag in not time! This is one of our most favorite pool "gotta haves!!".. ... read more it makes opening the pool so much easier!

      It's good..........but
after a wind storm, my pool is filled with pine needles and some leaves. This product is a must have for cleaning the pool; however, after a year's use (maybe a dozen times), the plastic hose connector threads became stripped (that was fixed with pipe tape), but then the connector itself snapped in two. Cheap plastic fitting. The rest of the unit is fine, wheels, brushes, body, but there doesn't seem to be a replacement for this connector which makes the rest of the unit useless since I can not ... read more longer connect the garden hose. Anyone else have this problem? IntheSwim - do you have a replacement part for this???

      SO SIMPLE!!
We've been using the bungee plug for the past two years on our in ground pool - SO SIMPLE! It takes a few minutes before all the water comes out of the lines though. We used a heavy duty shop vac (could have been the problem with a previous reviewer).

      Better than I had hoped.
Closed my inground pool yesterday. They work great! Used a large shop vac. One plug was stuck shut. I removed the bungee from the body of the plug and reinstalled bungee. Worked great. A real time saver.

      Genius
So much easier than tying the pillow. Second year to do it this way.

They came undone within a week. We had a strong wind and the air got underneath our cover so that may have been the cause

      Amazing
This thing is amazing we hooked it right to the pillow hooked the middle of the cover to the pillow slid that cover right on pillow stay right in the center where it's supposed to be amazing wish I had this thing all the years before now.

      Not sure it’s necessary
Got the 4x8 oblong. Huge! Blew up easily with my shop vac. Tied in pool as recommended, but then the cover won’t lay flat due to the ropes. Removed ropes. Cover blew off and air pillow blew out (guess that’s why you tie it). Re covered the pool without it, and it’s been sitting untouched in my garage for 2 weeks. Has lost nearly all of its air.

      Large Air Pillow Leak
I purchased 10 of the large pillows (4X15') and 4 of the 10 has small leaks and inflated in approximately 1-2 weeks. This is a pain since you have to uncover the pool to add air to the pillow. Removed one that was leaking and leak checked with soap solution and found many leaks along the seams (small). I was expecting the fill valve to be the problem, but they seemed fine on all of them. Appears to be a quality problem that they leak along the seams and they were not overinflated! They are ... read more working but would be much better if they did not have to be filled with air every few weeks.

      Works well if used correctly
I've been using these 4x8 pool pillows for years. I've never had a problem with them deflating or going flat. As a rule I take a new pillow in the fall, mark it with the date and only use it for two winters then throw it away. Pillow should only be inflated half-way. Pillow is not intended to hold the winter cover up to keep water from accumulating. The intent of the pillow is to absorb the pressure from the ice as the water freezes so it doesn't blow out your pool walls. Proper winter cover ... read more installation is to put the cover on over the pillow and allow it to settle to the water surface around the pillow. The cover should be secured around the pool perimeter with a cable and clips so it has enough slack so the cover can rest on as much of the pool water surface as possible. You then add water on the winter cover around the pillow after installation to hold it in place. You may need to drain some water off the cover before it freezes but you should try to keep about 2" of water on the cover just before it freezes up for the winter.

      Pool heater cover
We live in an area where the winter temperatures can become -25 or lower. I wanted to protect the several thousand dollar investment that we made from from the winter elements and this cover appears to be exceptional for the price. Hopefully it will provide the protection that we're hoping for.

      NO MORE RUST
These work perfectly. Very clean and no more rust to deal with from metal plugs. Great idea!!!!!!!!

Last winter the rubber plug that I'd been using for years didn't hold & I lost water needlessly. Should have gotten this a long time ago - it's so much better than the rubber plug!

      Great Plug
I have been using a different kind of set up that was not working for me. I thought I would try this and it works perfectly and seals securely. Love it.
