    Closing Accessories

      I love this thing!
If you have an issue with leaves or other large debris getting into your pool, this thing is the ticket! I accidentally dropped the edge of my winter cover into the pool last year when removing the cover. This resulted in a large amount of leaves being dumped into the bottom of my pool. Ugh! After about 10 passes with my Pool Rover, and barely any leaves removed, I decided to give this a try. It's much quicker and easier than using a net and will pick up a suprising amount of large gunk from the ... read more bottom of your pool. The only downside? If you have fine silt or dirt in your pool, it just flows through the mesh bag and gets stirred around. But this is really made for the big stuff like leaves, sticks, berries, etc. This has become a part of my spring pool clean-up permanently. It's awesome!

it really does pick up all the leave
so happy withit . says what it does. wish the bags netting were smaller to pick up other stuff.

      It's good..........but
after a wind storm, my pool is filled with pine needles and some leaves. This product is a must have for cleaning the pool; however, after a year's use (maybe a dozen times), the plastic hose connector threads became stripped (that was fixed with pipe tape), but then the connector itself snapped in two. Cheap plastic fitting. The rest of the unit is fine, wheels, brushes, body, but there doesn't seem to be a replacement for this connector which makes the rest of the unit useless since I can not ... read more longer connect the garden hose. Anyone else have this problem? IntheSwim - do you have a replacement part for this???

Excellent!! Great for FL summer rains too!
This product effectivly removes phosphates from our water, we only had problem in the summer storm season here inFL, so now we use one at the beginning of the storm season and voila! No more shocking needed! We try to keep it up with regular phos free, but this certainly helps when you forget or are gonna be away!

      Great Product
This was recommend by our pool installation contractor. We tried the Pool magic and have used it for the last five seasons.

Crystal clear pool on spring opening
We've been using this product for 3 years (after a horrible experience opening our pool) and we wouldn't close or open our pool without it now. Great product.

      They Work Great!
I had bought some of these plugs when we first set up our 18' above ground pool and they worked great. Now, 8 years later they finally got weather cracked and needed replacement. You can't beat the price considering they kept water from leaking out during the winter for many years. The only change is that the wing nut is now plastic verse metal from 8 years ago. The new plastic wing nut worked great and should last as long as you keep it out of the sun during the summer.

Saved me from lowering water level.
I bought this to prevent me from having to lower my water level below the skimmer because my water delivery guy told me that because of the gas prices water delivery price was going to increase. I used this and it worked great it has already paid for itself 50x.

      Implode due to vacuum pressure
Simple to use, just screw in. I have a large in ground pool and my lines create a natural vacuum when they're drained during winterizing. Found that these units do implode on themselves under that pressure, but not enough to fail. Work fine though despite this.

      Very Good!
This really helps make closing easier. jusst screw it in.

I used this for our 24' above ground pool during the winter in the midwest. The idea is good and for a while, the cover seal stayed in place and kept the "cover sealed". With wind/rain/snow, though, the seal started to stretch, tear, and "flip" off of the sides of the pool. It was also virtually impossible to wrap this seal around the entire pool because we have a deck. The seal is the consistency of Saran Wrap and Saran Wrap probably would have worked as well-seriously. It is a good idea, but ... read more not very practical.

      Great Product!!!
We have used it for the last 3 years and will order a roll this fall also. It works great keeping the air from getting under the winter cover. It requires being stretched really tight when applying to the pool. We have an 18' pool and we use the whole roll. When we wrap our pool, we wrap it in three different levels so it is about 30 inches high all around the pool. It pays to check it a few times during the winter to make sure it hasn't worked itself up during heavy winds. Last year during a ... read more windy time in April, ours worked itself off and ended up in the neighbor's yard. If it's installed correctly, it is a GREAT PRODUCT!!

Second Time I have used it!
One of the things that have always caused problems with my pool cover is over the winter as liquid adds to the cover, it tends to pull and the clips tend to pop off. With the plastic wrap, I get a great seal on the cover and it doesn't tend to "sink" over the winter as water gets in the pool. I do pump from the cover, but that is difficult in the dead of winter. This product has helped a lot.

      Survived New York Winter
This worked great and was put to the test last winter. Living in Central New York, where we talk of snow in terms of feet, not inches, it was put to the test. We had no skimmer problems at all.

      good replacement for pool bags
Bought a set of 12 a year ago to try them since we are tired of spending money on expensive pool bags that end up in the garbage after a year This is our second set of 12 to complete around our pool We were impressed with them last winter We did put bricks inside as well as water and used plastic ties around to ensure the tops stayed tight as we get heavy winds here

      Does the job
Not sure why the lid catches are not more secure... They need a bit more plastic in each catch to hold the lid properly. Often, the catching mechanism is so flimsy that it's difficult to know when the lid is actually locked in place.

      Best time saver yet
After 2 off-seasons with water bags, I just got enough of the aqua blocks to cover about 3/4 of the perimeter, thinking I could use the remaining bags that had not already broken for the rest. I loved the 3 sides that got aqua blocks, and cursed the entire time on the side with the bags because it took twice as long as the other 3 sides combined, and got me all wet! I have already replaced 2 bags due to leakage in the last 2 months. Next year, it is all blocks, all the way. Any money spent on ... read more the blocks will be made up in time savings with your first install and spring takedown - definitely a must purchase for people like me who HATE pool maintenance!

      So so
This is a good concept, however it's a one size fits all which makes it difficult to drape the hose flat like the video. This causes the grain not to lay flat on the pool and cover, one end sits up. The hose is to long for an 18' round pool. I email several times to Dryco and asked about this issue and possibly cutting the hose shorter. But no response. None at all. Customer service is horrible in my opinion. How can you make a product and not answer questions about it. In the video is showers ... read more the hose going straight down lay on pool floor then up to return. In the picture it showes hose going straight across from drain to return. Which I think it would work better.

      Marriaged saved
Wow...saved my marriage! My wife was done with siphoning the nasty water off the cover by mouth. Figured she was gonna leave me this winter over it. I decided that 100 bucks was worth the gamble to get here to stay and it is worth every penny. Installed it while she cooked Sunday breakfast and it has worked perfect since! Pool drained and marriage saved! Thanks! Stephen

      Yes it works
I have been fighting leaves for several years so I thought I would give this a try, It only took a few minutes to install and get hooked up to my pool. It has been raining off and on for several days since I install the drain kit. It only took one sunny day and it was as dry as a bone.
