    AquaBot Cleaners

      Nice little pool cleaner
Sure you can spend 1000$ on a machine that maps every inch of your pool and scrubs it but for the price of this one you can put it in and come back later to a mostly clean pool bottom. In three weeks of cleaning it pays for itself. I have a 40x20 inground and it does really nicely. Light and easy to operate. Beats the filter suction hand held system I was previously using hands down.

At long last, I can swim when I want to
If you have a pool, you need a robotic cleaner. If you are thinking of installing a pool, add in the cost of a cleaner. I researched and read reviews on tons of cleaners out there. I talked to pool store people and friends who have ones. Ended up with this rover, and am so far pleased with the results. Have used it for two weeks now and my water is crystal clear. I have a fine brown silt that builds up in the floor crevices of my 24' above ground round pool. I use this every other day and it is ... read more 95% gone. I don't worry about the remaining 5% since it gets stirred up when we swim and doesn't affect the water quality. It gets sucked up next time I put the rover in. I can now swim when I want to without dealing with hoses, poles and vacuum heads. Not to mention how ugly those are sitting on the ground or deck next to my pool. I keep the rover hidden away in a deck box when not in use. Filter bags are easy to access and clean. You do need to allow the rover a few hours to cover the whole pool. It sometimes goes over the same area a bunch of times, but it seems like the control box systematically changes things up to make the bot eventually move on to another area. Don't sit there and watch it work thinking it will target the dirt. It needs time to cover the whole pool. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that I am concerned on how long it will last, based on some other reviews written. If I get 3 years out of it, it is definitely worth 5 stars. At a cost of $300, that would only be $100 per year to never have to vacuum your pool. Good money spent in my opinion. My cord does not tangle like some others have said. I place the control box and extra cord on my deck, and the rover pull in what it needs. Has not tangled yet or gotten hung up on my ladder. Wish I bought one a few years ago when I started looking at them.

      We call him Robbie
I've had my pool rover robot for 3 years now, and I have been totally satisfied with his performance. He does a great job picking up debris, and it's very relaxing to just watch him go back and forth around the pool! My only problem is getting him out of the pool, unless I actually go into the water.

      Ok, I'm strange because
I love to watch this robotic vacuum running around my pool. It picks up sticks, leaves, pine needles & filters fine particles. The handle makes it easy to remove from pool. Easy open access to filters on top. It came with 2 extra bags that are easy to clean with Velcro opening. Best present that I've bought for myself.

      No insructions
I had no clue how to work it properly. There were two rubber gaskets over the jets which impeded it. I would put it in the pool and it would barely move. I had to figure out on my own that these two gaskets would not open properly. Once I removed them I got both jet and suction action. The bags are kind of heavy and really don't get smaller particles very well but it's awesome on bigger trash like leaves and twigs.

      No complaints
I bought this several weeks ago and I am happy that I did. My pool has always had issues accumulating brown dust particles at the bottom of the pool (my pool water is always chemically balanced, so I imagine it has to do with lots of pollen/dirt in the air, as I live in the country). Also, due to heavy winds and lots of trees, my pool collects leaves, buds and bugs quite a bit. This rover takes care of all of this and the bottom of my pool has never looked better. I love how fine the filter ... read more bags are, and how easy it is to deploy and clean. For me, it is worth every penny. No complaints here.

      So convenient!
I bought this at the beginning of the season since I have a toddler and didn’t want to worry about when I could clean the pool. It was a good price and totally worth what I paid, however it claimed that it would cover my entire pool at 20x 40ft and I feel like it doesn’t quite get it all sufficiently. It mostly misses the back wall of the deep end which I believe is also Due to the cord not being quite long enough. I end up putting it in two or three times a week. I wish I would have just bought ... read more the bigger one and not have to put it in as often. If the company would let me pay the difference and upgrade I would.

      Follow Up Review
We have been running our Aquabot JR since April '13. At end of last season it was working intermittently, then stopped altogether just before I closed the pool. Took it to local service shop (Aquabot has list of factory authorized shops). They found that there was a short in the cord. Technician said that this is a typical problem for these cleaners. The insulation breaks down at flex point where cable enters housing. He trimmed off a couple feet of cord and so far it is working fine. ... read more Repair cost $110, a replacement 50' two conductor cable retails for $270 so the repair is worth a try. All of the rubber parts (brushes, drive belts) remain in very good condition after five years of use and storage in unheated shed in Pittsburgh area. Overall we remain big fans of this little cleaner.

      Cleans good but disappointed
This is our first robotic pool cleaner. Bought the Aquabot about a month ago. Does a great job cleaning, but gets hung up on the ladder and the underwater light. It climbs the first step, then gets stuck. Would never plug it in and not check on it every 15/20 minutes. For the price, we didn't think we'd have to continually watch it.

      LOVE IT!!
I have owned my aquabot for several years (18x36' inground vinyl liner pool) and NEVER had an issue with it! I often tell people it's the best $800.00 I ever spent! No fighting aboout who is going to vacuum the pool...more time to enjoy! We don't remove the ladders or anything...occasionally some dirt was left @ the main drain in the deep end...then we figured out that the "draw" of water in the main drain was stronger than the aquabot, so we turned off the filter for a little while...problem ... read more solved! Totally clean pool...BUY IT!

      Great customer service
I have had a few pool robots over the years. Aquabot has always been the best in my opinion. When my old one finally gave up the ghost I purchased the classic model from In the Swim because of price and the extra filter bag. Mine came with just the one bag and no additional bag as advertised. One call to customer service and with only a few questions they connected me with the right person to get a bag shipped as advertised. Bottom line....great pool cleaner, and wonderful customer service !

      Works great
I've had a Polaris that didn't work well and also a kreepy crawler. This is the first cleaner that hits every spot of the pool and the great thing is it doesn't run off your filter.
