    Above-Ground Steps & Ladders

      Ladder pad
I bought this pad to protect my pool liner from possible damage caused by the ladder rubbing against the liner. I finally put my ladder in the pool yesterday. I was delighted when I put the ladder pad in the water, it went right to the botton. It was easy to place under the ladder. I don't think that I will have any problems with it floating up or moving out of place. The size is perfect and has extra material on each side incase of movement. Hopefully the $40 will be well worth it. I also hope ... read more that I can use it for a few years before replacing. We'll just have to wait and see.

      Very Good product
I purchased the size that was offered with these steps but, in my opinion, it should be the bigger one offered with the steps to cover all the bottom of the steps, not just the front part. But other than that is a great thing to protect your liner under the steps.

      Good Quality
I bought this step pad about a month ago. This one is thicker and of better quality than the last one I had and stays in place much better.

The curve step system is amazing!
I highly recommend the Curve Step System for anyone that has an above ground pool. They are very well built and the assembly instructions were easy to follow and was as close to trouble free as anything we have ever tried to assemble before. Our above ground pool is buried approximately 3 ft. in the ground, and this step system makes it effortless to get in and out of the pool. We are extremely happy with the look of the steps and have received numerous compliments on them! My husband & I are ... read more very impressed by this product. So much so that he said, "you have to write a review on these so people will know how great these steps are!"

Very happy and so is Grandma
Very easy to put together. The instructions were a little confusing but I figured it out. It took about an hour to do by myself. I filled the sides with sand and the steps don’t float or move now that they are attached to the deck. I’m not really sure how I’m going to remove it from the pool for the winter because it is very heavy with water and sand. So if anyone has tips on that I’d appreciate it. My mother is 72 and can not climb a ladder so these steps gave her a safe way in and out of the ... read more pool and the kids have a spot they can sit and play until they are tall enough to stand in the pool. The only design flaw I don’t like, is I wish they weren’t so steep. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Great steps so far after 1 month.

Great for dogs! And even people.
Sturdy, well made, easy to assemble, stay in place well, my labs use them with ease, i used (4) separate homemade 40# pvc and concrete weights to hold them down instead of sand, drilled a few extra holes in bottoms of pieces to let water and air in and out when placing and removing them from pool. I'm a 40 year old guy in pretty good shape but no Hercules, and I am able to get them both in and out of the pool myself (slowly and gradually to let water in when installing and out when removing), ... read more all while staying dry, though it would be an easier job with two people. I would not be able to do this if I used sand as a ballast as suggested in the instructions.

      Good product
Had a hard time finding a ladder with stainless steel handrails. IN THE SWIM didn't let me down.

      Super easy to install
This is a great easy to install pool ladder, that is very strudy for even a 250 lb. Man to enter and exit the pool. Doesn't take up pool space. Would recommend.

      Good quality
Bought this specifically so I could cut off a few inches from the back of the "U" to accommodate a taller height from the bottom of my pool to the surface of the deck I built over the top of it - worked like a charm. A little difficult to put together because the holes on the steps didn't quite line up with the holes in the rails, but it was nothing a little persistence couldn't fix. Overall a big improvement in quality over the ladder that came with the pool when I bought it.

      Easier to handle
Bought this to replace the roll slide ladder that broke. This ladder is our 3rd ladder and this by far is the best of the 3 we have purchased. This ladder does Not float!! You don't need to fill the ladder with water. It is adjustable and is solid once in place. Love the handle features because we put our pool noodles through the spaces at the top of the steps. very sturdy. The side pull out tab feature Is easy to use when pulling steps up in a position when pool is not in use and can be locked ... read more with a simple padlock if desired .

      Great Ladder
It was so easy to put together. I also bought the stabilizer bar and there is no movement when climbing up and down the ladder.

      Fairly good product
We've had our steps for about a month and yes they do support the weight as claimed, BUT, they are wobbly, feel incredibly unstable and I wish they had a "landing" at the top. For those of us with recent knee replacements the risers are very steep... Very steep. Also the steps on the inside of the pool are very narrow unlike those on the outside. I'd much rather someone build curvy, graduated steps... Almost ramp-like access in the outside and wider steps on the inside. Because the risers are so ... read more steep, I simply can't use them with my knees. Maybe someday I'll be able to, but not yet. So I get to sit and watch everyone else play.

      Stable and Looks Good !
We've had these steps for a few years now. They are stable and good looking. NO problem getting in or out and my husband has 2 bad knees and a bad back. Self latching locking gate is exactly what we needed.

A very sturdy ladder. So much better than the ladder that came with our pool. If you have so heavier people n your group this ladder works great.

Could you please help me return a ladder that I had purchased from you? I had to cancel the pool I had ordered. I could not afford the required fencing. I am disabled, and need the easiest way to return. Please.

      these are fantastic
These worked perfectly. ...no guess work on measurements and can be worry free for another 20 years....brass will not corrode away like previous pot metal and will be last time i have to cut out concrete to replace...i wish i had these on original pool installation

      ladder conversion kit
The new conversion kit was much heavier and more durable than the other pieces that were on the latter. I'm very well pleased with them and the shipping time was very short

      Did the job nicely
Although I think that $40 + shipping was a bit much for 4 pieces of plastic. It was exactly what I need to convert the step portion of my old ladder into a usable step into the pool of the deck. I guess nothing is cheap anymore

More About Above Ground Pool Steps & Above Ground Pool Ladders

Above ground pool steps and ladders are important pieces to your pool and its safety. In the Swim offers a variety of steps and ladders made of different materials for every above ground pool owner’s budget.

For above ground pools without a deck, a two-sided ladder like the Roll Guard A-frame safety ladder and the Evolution A-frame safety ladder are necessities. These two-sided pool ladders have an outside safety gate as does the heavy duty Deluxe Entry System with gate for added security when your pool is not in use. For the ultimate in above ground pool comfort, usability and safety, there’s the complete resin pool deck with a generous 5-foot-wide and 10-foot-long dimension along with steps into the pool and off the deck with a safety gate.

If your above ground pool features a deck, there are plenty of options such as the Evolution above ground pool in-pool ladder or more heavy duty, easier to use pool steps staircase that creates a very stable way of getting in and out of your above ground pool. The Grand Entrance Steps set is a secure, more stylish and aesthetically pleasing staircase that sits in your pool.

There are many different types of materials for pool ladders. The most popular and cost-efficient is the vinyl pool ladder that attaches to your deck or a double sided vinyl pool ladder for above ground pools without a deck. The 5-step stainless steel pool ladder has a classic look that provides great support and a long, useful life.
