Makes getting into our pool so much easier, my 83 yr. Old mother was able to get in. Very sturdy and wide. LOVE IT..

Very solid. Great addition to our pool.
I'll start with my only negative. Have to do a little trimming of the rough edges of plastic left from the molding process. This makes everything fit a lot better.
Positives: Great product. Very solid.
Soooo much better than a ladder even the one we had with wide steps.
Makes getting in and out so much better for everyone. From our 14 month old grandson to our 70 year old father.
Even makes it easy in and out for our Springer Spaniel. He loves the water and this eases our concern over him

Took about an hour to put together with a rubber mallet. Make sure you get nice dry sand to fill it with. Mine was kind of moist and was getting stuck and not falling to the bottom. I ended up putting them in the pool and they floated. So make sure you really shake the sand down. They look great in my 24ft round.
I have had these steps / ladder for 8+ years...NO rust or weak steps...Comes spotlessly clean with hose or powerwasher...The security of ease of entry and exiting of pool is 2nd to none...There is no way to have entrapment when in the pool...This may cost more initially but the durability and comfort are worth it and in the long run very cost effective...Extra bonus that the gate locks - very important for insurance purposes....

I built them in one day. I needed a friend to help lift the one half into the pool.
They were a little heavy to adjust the height once I got them in the pool. There was a learning curve about getting them good and level, so that the two staircases can be attached with good stability.
The "non-entrapment step facing" and "the skids" on the bottom of both sides should be installed outside of the pool, and secured with a little tape until you have the steps installed well.
Once the stairs are in

Mom/Granny went swimming today and did great. She was fully in control all the way into the pool and all the way out to the sidewalk.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it is great. Simple to put together and the quality is great. Thought I would need sand bags or something to weigh it down but they were not needed. We just made sure to slowly submerge stairs to allow air to escape and water to fill. Best purchase I have made for our pool. Delivery was quick and arrived as scheduled. If you want a nice quality stair and not build a deck this is the perfect choice.
