Simply replace your current "eyeball" return fitting with this valve when winterizing, drain the water from the lines, fill with antifreeze and water is prevented from re-entering the lines.

Also allows you to blow air through the return lines with the one-way winter valve installed.

Winterizing valve can be installed without ever having to drain your pool!

The one-way winter valve for winterizing pools is the perfect match for those who use the Aquador skimmer cover when closing the pool. Snap on your Aquador, then screw the one-way blow-out plug into your wall return. Add antifreeze into the return lines, or use air from a blower box or a compressor, at a low air pressure setting. The one-way winter pool valve will allow the water to be blown out of the line, without allowing any water to come back into the line.

Commonly known as a blow-out plug for pool winterizing, the one-way winter pool valve completely eliminates the need for rubber pool return plugs or freeze plugs when winterizing your pool. Much better constructed than a winter duck plug – our one-way pool plug keeps water out, and you can count on its performance year after year.

Did you know that some people, when closing their pool, actually lower the water level below the returns, plug the lines, and then fill the pool back up? Our unique one-way winterizing valve saves time and water. Recommended by pool professionals in the know – prevents worry about water in the lines freezing, when you close the pool with our one-way winter pool plug.

Pool freeze plugs, made of rubber, last only a few years before they dry-rot and crack. Our threaded blow-out plug inserts easily into your wall returns and pool cleaner fittings (1.5" threaded), and seals up tight with a durable Buna-N o-ring. Winter duck plugs have a rubber seal that can open during winter, and a flimsy plastic cap that easily get misplaced during summer.

Easy Easy Easy I purchased these pool valves and love them. after fighting with the rubber winter plugs the babies are a snap just screw them in and then blow out your lines and put on the rubber cap and you are done!! Now you don't have to worry if you got the rubber plug in tight enough or that it might pop out.. December 15, 2008

Great Product!! I WOULD SPEND A LOT OF TIME DRAINING AND REFILLING MY INGROUND POOL AT THE END AND BEGINNING OF EACH SEASON. THESE VALVES HAVE SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME WINTERIZING AND RE-OPENING MY POOL EACH YEAR. ANOTHER GREAT THING IS THAT YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO REPLACE THE STANDARD VALVES WITH PLUGS DURING THE WINTER. Pool Closing is a "snap" This handy little gadget is a must have when closing your pool. It eliminates the need to have four hands when blowing out lines. Simply replace the eyeball return with them, blow out the line and snap the cover on. It doesn’t get any easier then this! September 20, 2007
