In life, there are some jobs we do because we have to, even when we don’t enjoy it. Cleaning your swimming pool might be one of those jobs but there are some accessories that can help make the job much easier. Your swimming pool vacuums actually come in different varieties but there are a few common elements of all: A telescopic pool pole, Vacuum head, Vacuum plate and a Pool Vacuum hose.

While it doesn’t seem like it would be the most important part of your vacuum, the swimming pool vacuum hose can make a huge difference when it comes to the ease of cleaning your pool. A long vacuum hose for pools lets you reach a greater area of your pool more easily but also can reduce the strength of suction. Unfortunately, a short pool vacuum cleaner hose poses other obvious limitations on cleaning. Moreover, pool vacuum hoses must be able to stand up to harsh chemicals and sun exposure so needs to be made of a durable material. Finally, the diameter of your pool vacuum cleaner hose can also affect the suction of your pool so you want to strike a balance between effective suction and the ability to pick up larger debris.

Good product, works well I wish it came with a reel or a holder, and some connections for suction fittings. But after I made my own fittings with a pvc nipple and a piece of radiator hose, it does the job. July 9, 2012

Very Disappointed Swivel end leaked right out of the box. Had to duct tape to fix leak. Swivel end does not work well when duct taped. Obviously not tested prior to packing/shipping. June 1, 2011
