Do Not Buy this Wall Brush!!!!
Do not purchase this brush especially if you have a cartridge filter system. After 2 months the bristles started falling out and breaking off as I was using it. The bristles float to the top, thank goodness I use a skimmer sock as I do not know what those things would have done to the cartridges in my filter had they worked their way through. I have never been disappointed by In The Swim so I called them and told them that they need not to sell this product because it will damage their reputation since they only have a 30 day return policy and this thing crapped out after 1 1/2 months.

Deluxe Wall Brushes
Looks like a good quailty brush. However, after about 2.5 months the bristles are all breaking off. I have always been satisfied with your products but you may want to consider a different vendor, in the future, for this brush. I would be happy to pay a higher price for a quality brush.

Pole/wall brush problem
After going through 3 poles I finally figured out why they were getting chewed up at the attachment point. The brush, after being attached to the pole just touches the aluminum side braises for the brush. During usage the braises contact the pole and start to cut into the pole. As this happens, the plastic pole lock starts to get cut into which in turn causes the pole to further slide up against the metal braises. The process continues until the plastic lock brakes. Once this happens, replacing the locks becomes a constant thing due to the loose fit, and eventually the pole becomes too deformed to be usable. This problem occurs with all poles regardless of brand, and this brush is not the only one with this exact same problem. A redesign of the brush (trimmed down braises closer to the brush head) is necessary to save on constant parts replacement.

Perfect? No. Better than most? Yes.
I was prepared to write a two/three star review for this brush as I had chronic problems with the screws loosening. I even tried Gorilla Glue & Loctite to get them to stay. After the first year, I also had the bristle shedding problem other have mentioned.
This year I threw it away. Later I was walking through Home Depot and saw pool brushes for $10 and bought one thinking "They are all the same". Wow, what a disappointment. I didn't realize how helpful & important the curved ends are until I didn't have them. The angle was wrong, so I had to brush with the pole low to the pool edge. It took a lot more scrubbing than before to do the usual cleaning and it also started shedding immediately! So much for $10.
So, I give this brush 4-Stars in a case of "Don't know what you got till it's gone". It's certainly not perfect, but light years better than the cheapo brushes.
I will be buying another one as it seems to be the best of breed...even though this breed has defects.
