You Can do better
Many things get stuck in cleaner, breaks down a lot. Flaps constantly needed to be replaced, gears wore out, would find it just twirling around in pool, stuck in corners, or with leaves stuck in suction hole. Repairs expensive too. If this were more reliable it wouldn't be bad but I felt I had to check on it all the time.

worst pool cleaner
I had this pool cleaner for 9 years and had to replace on a regular basis The wings ($25) Shoes ($25) A- Frame($100.)gear box installed $ 75.00..Little rocks would get into my pool and jamb up the cleaner and strip the gears..In 9 years it cost me for repairs over a thousand dollars.
I now own a Great White and in two years have not spent anything.....

Very fine product
The Hayward Navigator costs a bit more than others but it's well worth the extra cost. I use Hayward equipment and the Navigator was an excellent addition to my pool needs.

Reliable Quiet & Efficient
This is much better than a kreepy krauler which always got stuck.
The navigator works well. It has little feet that need replaced and you can replace the flaps. By the time we got around to it the second time, the gears were lose and we just got a new one.
Parts are easy to get and it works well.
We have had three pool cleaners in nine years. We live in Florida and run it several hours every day 365 days a year. Does a great job keeping the pool clean. I am happy with this brand and would need a real good reason to switch.
