What size heater do I need?
- A 250,000 BTU heater will heat a pool with a surface area of 750 square feet. You can safely go up one to two sizes unless you are replacing an existing heater. If replacing an existing heater you are limited by the diameter of the existing gas supply pipe. The gas pipe is sized according to BTU’S. Installing a heater larger than the pipe will result in a sporadic or non-operating heater.
Are the headers reversible?
- Yes, the headers are located on the right side of the heater and can be switched to the left side.
How big is the heater?
- 28 in. wide, 29 1/2 in. deep, 24 in. high.
- Weight 180 lbs.
Can I install the heater myself?
- The heater should be installed by a professional technician.
