Troubleshooting:

  • Air bubbles expelling from impeller tube or Dolphin falling backwards at waterline.
  • – Remove handle float and if necessary, attach 8oz weight to bottom inlet cover.

  • Cable twisting.
  • – Change handle diagonal after each use.
    – Turn off filter and install main drain covering.
    – Straighten cable and lay in sun periodically.

  • Dolphin moving in circles.
  • – Place power supply in a position so that Dolphin can reach all walls.
    – Lock bottom lid securely.
    – Check tracks are free and not stretched.
    – Remove handle float and if necessary, attach 8oz weight to bottom inlet cover.

  • Dolphin does not climb walls.
  • – Empty and wash filter bag and add floats if necessary.
    – Machine wash filter bag.
    – Brush walls.
    – Water temperature should be above 65 degrees.

  • Motors not working.
  • – Impeller blocked. Clean around impeller.
    – Drive system blocked. Clean tracks and wheels.
    – Electrical problems – motor unit, cable, power supply. Check cable and wall plugs and sockets.

  • Dolphin will not sink.
  • – Air caught in filter bag. Turn Dolphin upside-down under water or machine wash filter bag.
