- Brush pool surfaces – Brushing the surface helps loosen algae that is stuck to the pool walls & floor, allowing the shock and algaecide to completely penetrate & quickly kill the algae bloom.
- pH Reducer (6 lbs) – Pool Shock (Step #3) is most effective when the pool pH level is between 6.8 - 7.0. Test your pool water & adjust if necessary before moving to Step #3.
- Pool Shock (6 lbs) – Add powerful In The Swim Pool Shock to super chlorinate your pool water, and quickly kill the algae.
- Algae Treatment – Add our specialized algaecide to kill the nutrients algae needs to grow, and to help prevent future algae blooms.
- Super Clarifier (1 qt) – Once the algae has been destroyed, adding Super Clarifier will quickly clear cloudy or dull water for a sparkling clean pool!
- Your pool filter works hard to remove dead algae from the water after treatment. We suggest you start fresh, & clean your pool filter with an In The Swim Pool Filter Cleaner!
