Excellent paint for pool deck
This was a great purchase for our house. My wife slipped and hurt her knee on the patio paint we used to have (very slippery when wet). It has created a very durable surface that is not slippery even when wet. It's almost like there's a shell on the deck. And the deck is actually the only thing cool place to walk on barefoot! The colors on the sample page are near the color, they may actually be a little bit lighter so be careful when choosing. It is also extremely thick and we did add water to both layers we did. There was also a little bit of work to prep the surface but overall I would highly recommend.

Sort of Pleased
We looked high and low for a pool deck paint color that would work. We wanted something darker, more rich. We were so excited when we found the "Putty" color. This excitment lasted until we opened the can. Definitely not even remotely close to the color on the screen. It was more gray than deep brown. We decided to apply it, with the hopes that it would somehow darken after drying. It did darken up a little bit, but again, was no where near close to the color on the screen. I understand that a computer color rendering will never be the same as the color in real life, but this was nuts. We checked with In the Swim and the mfg, Kelley Technical, who checked the color code and confirmed that we had the right color...putty.
Ultimately, we ended up putting the paint down b/c the prep was done and we just wanted to finish the project. The paint went on beautifully and dried to a great surface. The only disappointment was the color!

Good product
Finding the right paint at a In The Swim is much easier than at a paint specialty store. There is no hassle and it's so convenient.

pool paint-deck
I purchased the deck paint last year the narrow concrete it has held up well but this year I had to repaint the larger areas ,I noticed the lare areas when wet some places the paint would blister when dry it would lay back down, when I sprayed the concrete with a water hose the paint would flake off taking the smooth surface of the concrete off I prepared it right the paint stayed on the concrete but the concrete would flake off just on the big areas.I don't know why that happened.
