Technical Specifications:

For Indoor and Outdoor pools.

Covers approximately 250 square feet per gallon.

Durable acrylic enamel water based pool paint can be applied to unpainted damp surfaces, and pools that have been previously coated with water-base swimming pool paint.

Drying time before filling pool: 3 days at 65°F average temperature.

Minimum 2 coats on initial application. On the first coat, thin with 10% water, after complete drying, apply the second coat full strength.

Virtually no odor.

Apply to a damp surface

If a primer coat is preferred mix 16 ounces of water with one gallon of Aquacoat. Follow with full strength coating on 2nd coat.

If properly applied with 2 coats should last the entire season.

We recommend that the customer purchase 2 extra gallons of paint in addition to the amount that is calculated that they need. If the customer is in the middle of painting their pool and they find that they will not have enough paint the coverage on their pool will not be consistent since they will have to wait for more paint to be shipped to them. The color may also vary slightly as the paint may come from a different dye lot from the manufacturer.

How to Calculate the Square Footage of a Pool:
1. Identify the shape of the pool - SEE BELOW
2. Use the formula given to calculate the pool square footage.
3. Divide the pools square footage by the sq. ft. per gallon of the desired paint to determine how many gallons of paint are needed.

Rectangular	Length x Width x 1.5 = Total Square Feet
Oval	Length x Width x 1.65 = Total Square Feet
Roman	Length x Width x 1.55 = Total Square Feet

Pros: Excellent Coverage, Covers a multitude of Stuff!

Cons: I don't know of any cons at this time, only painted this past summer.

"Due to drought here in Union County NC, and not being able to properly fill the pool the previous year. We had to close up pool and not use. The pool looked bad all green and ugly. Our pool is 10 years old, so we decided the only way to get that fresh clean look back was to drain the pool completely, scrub the wall and paint. Boy it looks great, we searched high and low for pool paint in this area and could not find any. We received a catalogue for In The Swim and PROBLEM SOLVED."

Pros: much easier to work with than rubber base and a better price

"I was a little concerned since I had rubber base on the cement pool. I power washed it before I painted but nothing else. It went on and covered so nicely and the cleanup is great. I waited a year to write this review because I wanted to see how it looked this year and I'm truly amazed. No bubbles or chips like the rubber base. This is really great stuff."
